My Birthday trip 9/1/06

Midway Matt and I hit the park finally! He asked what I wanted to do for my birthday and all I could think was "GET TO THE POINT!"

We were there for Joe Cool, hit MF (Matts favorite) first. Single line all the way to the entrance; the employees were doing a great job because we sure didn't wait too long! By the time we got off, the queues were filling fast.

Headed toward the front and I just HAD to hit Cadillac Cars. My favorite car (1417) was on the track and it was calling my name! It is the only car (well in 1999 it was) that will squeel when you stop the car. I had a blast, it brought back great memories from when I worked there in 1999.

Got in the long single line for Raptor. When we got by the pop machines, they made the line snake through the first set of queues. Raptor was on a 2-train operation. I then hit WT and had a blast. We then went to Mine Ride (to see Bad Metal Purple who was off for the day), they were running a 1 train operation. Skyhawk had the longest line I ever seen so we skipped that one.

We then went to Magnum that was finally up and running for the day and they too were on a 2-train operation. We decided to end the day because it was getting pretty busy at the park. TTD was down I think because of the wind.

Hit BW's for lunch and headed home. It was a great day, I forgot how much I missed CP! Can't wait to return again soon.
