With my oldest at my side, the first thing on our agenda was getting my new parking sticker. Can you say PINK? Blech! Then we headed to the Merry Go Round museum in downtown Sandusky. We know where Schwabichen is! :) Headed back to CP and she and I got a tour of the whole park before the meeting. It was the 1st time ever I had been DRIVEN around the park so that was rather cool. Seeing all the rides (especially my baby) really got me pumped for this season to start. Mantis’ paint looks wonderful, I don’t recall it being that bright even in ‘96! However one of the greatest moments of today was seeing TTD in action. All I’m going to say here is the better name for this ride should have been "UR going to poop your pants ride"! WOW! This thing FLIES!!! I have never seen anything like it before in my life!! Seriously the 1st time I saw it’s launch and the full circuit I was SOO excited about riding it. Nervous? Heck yes but SOO siked none the less! The grandstand is a cool addition and the whole layout is awesome. Looks so much different than it did back in February. I took some awesome pictures and can’t wait till I am in one of the trains!! Final countdown is here!! woo hoo! :)
Attention my groupies and fellow Po!nters-check your email for some TTD pics! :)
Back to the seminar.
It really never ceases to amaze me how many employees I know that work at CP. Even my daughter can’t believe it sometimes. Did anyone here know Joe E is working as a sweep at CP this season? It was wonderful seeing everyone today. We got to enjoy the catered dinner before the seminar, and got to listen to some of it. I was TOLD (NOT asked) SEVERAL times I was coming back this season, it’s nice to know you’re wanted! ;) I love working at CP and won’t commit either way at this time. I promise if I do decide to work there again you all will know. I have been worried to death over this whole speech thing for the past 2 weeks! I wrote and rewrote it so many times and the final product I used today. It seems that as soon I got in front of the potiam and got the microphone attached I was home. Once I settled down and actually got some laughs I was fine. By the end of the speech I felt like Dave Letterman doing his monologue. I think I did a good job of trying to explain to everyone what CP means to me as a guest and an crew member. Oh, and I’m positive some of them thought I was just a WHACK too! ;)
We got to hear some more of the actual seminar and then we had to scoot. We had a LONG drive home and believe me when I say more than 50% of our conversation was on TTD! My daughter and I can NOT wait to ride it!!! :)
As for my day I had a wonderful time!! I shouldn’t have gotten so worked up over the speech, it was a breeze! A special thank you for the invitation to do the speech and thank you for the tour-it was awesome!! :)
CP freak=park isn’t even open yet and that was my FOURTH trip there already this season!! :)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)

Have you ever just sat and really thought about what you are thinking?
You almost had A couple of visitors in the front row on Sunday, but me and A certian "PR" guy and his wife decided to go to lunch instead. He said that you did not want us to be their. Glad that it went well for you and looking forward to the weekend!

Will the addition of TTD allow me to get more rides on MF this year?
