Music on rides

I have the MF techno and Ready to Go, and currently looking for Peanuts theme music. What other signiture tunes at CP are played? I want to make my own personal Cedar Point sound track. :)

Well, I don't know if it's really a signature tune, but the music used in the autospiel on Wicked Twister is "The Winner" by Crystal Method.

Thanks! I'll have to look into that one as well.

I was able to purchase both "Ready to Go" and "The Winner" from the iTunes Music Store. (Yes, I actually paid for the music).

I have a Cedar Point playlist, but it is hard to decide what to add to it. Right now, I have a CP megalist that I play on the drive to the park. It is so well timed, that I am usually at either the MF theme, or the other station music I have as I arrive at the Point!

Oh, and the song that gets stuck in my head when I get near WT is "We're Not Gonna Take it" from Twisted Sister.

Hey, hey, don't be making fun of the soundtrack's on Matterhorn and Himilaya, or as they are commonly referred to, the Dick Kinzel Top 40.

I like music on rides like when your waiting in line. It's cool to have DJ's in the queue because it makes the anticipation before getting on the ride really exciting. It's really exciting when your boarding Top Thrill Dragster and they have that song from Republica, which really adds to the anticipation.

I like it when your at the park, and when your waiting in line you have the DJ's which are really entertaining. It's fun walking through trails like Frontier Town. Good Country Music, oh I love country. I really like when your about to enter Top Thrill Dragster and when your boarding you have that song from Republica which really pumps me up! Although when your waiting in line, part of Dragsters theming kind of gets annoying because every 10 minutes they have that voice coming on saying SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!! I know how the employees feel.....lol

Oh, while we're talking about sound issues, Mr. Rob...

Have you ever mentioned to the folks who do the purchasing of equipment at the park that having one set of really, really big speakers in line for MF instead of a bunch of smaller ones scattered throughout the line is a BAD idea? It's deafining close to the speakers, but at the other end of the queue you can't hear a thing.

Make it stop! Please?

There are actually 2 music systems in the MF queue if you look.

There is the park music/annoucement system (the green in ground speakers located around the queue, and the DJ setup (the black speakers you speak of).

The Park music one is used when the DJ systems are not set up yet. That's the one I work on..

Live E controls the other.

Oh, that's right, there are.

But still- live E can eat my shorts if they think their setup is any good (or even less than painful) when the DJ's working.
