You'll find out all too soon when you get there... Just remember to wear hooded sweatshirts on certain ride nights, and don't open your mouth. ^_~

Few sounds I can think of worse than the snapping of an automobile driving over a road covered with muffleheads.

How to tell you're a true Po!nter:
You actually develop a taste for muffleheads and can't wait till June to eat more!! :) I could be wrong but I'm hoping with this God forsaken awful winter we've had so far, the mufflehead population won't be so bad this year. One can only hope! :)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)

Sorry Jo, but the muffleheads (or maybe I'm thinking of May Flies) live at the bottom of the lake before they hatch. The kind of winter we have has no impact on the population. The mufflehead problem is a byproduct of a fairly health Lake Erie, so I guess it's good that you like the taste of them! :)

but Ohio has Cedar Point and Put-In-Bay.

I would rather deal with muffleheads and mayflies every day than the gigantic black and yellow hairy spider with clawlike legs that I found on the curtains in my bedroom in Bayside (I'm not usually disgusted or scared by spiders, but this long-legged mammoth arachnid was definitely the exception!)

Living near the lake pretty much all my life i've grown to get used to them...there is this little Edison plant by my dads house that they hae to shut basically all the outside lights off in May-June because of them bugs, they've actually had a power outage for a few days because of them things ;)

that's...pretty bad...the only really bad things we have around here (Butler, IN (Northeast IN)) are your typical horse flys, mosquitoes, and moths. moths are probably the most abundant...but horseflys bites hurt the worst.

lol, you people have no idea. the masquitos are the size of a diamond ring, the mayflys dont bite, but swarm ALL over you and jump around like mexican beans, and if you plan on working outside in the light.......think again!
