Moving To Gold from Commons

This year I'm planning on living in Gold, since I don't want to have to worry about catching the shuttle anymore. (I never really had a problem with it, but since 'opening' for me will be 1 1/2 hours earlier than last year, I want to be as close as possible). But since I'm coming up before Gold opens, I'll have to stay in Commons for a couple of weeks first. (Assuming Gold doesn't open until mid-May again).

My question is, for anyone who has moved from one dorm to another - how do you go about this? Do you need to go to the Housing Office in Cedars or do you go to the main desk in Gold? And can I move in to Gold before I move out of Commons? Well, what I mean is, since I don't have a car, I'll have to take a couple of trips on the shuttle to get my stuff over to Gold, and I don't want to have to be cleared out of Commons before I'm able to get into Gold.

Would I go to the Commons desk first to say I'm moving, or do I go to Gold first to tell them I want to move in? Ahhhhhh, if anyone could clear this up for me, that would be great.

"Am I still in Cedar Point?"

Just dont move to the old dorms, they really are not fit to house the goats from the pet farm. Just live in the commons or bayside and enjoy the freedom of being away from the noise!
