Okay, so I made at bet with a friend of mine that there was a horror movie filmed at Cedar Point. I know I'm right because I remember seeing it on here about a year ago. Does anyone have a link to the video evidence so I can collect my $50. Then I'll be able to afford a trip to the park in a week or two.

A simple search on Youtube for "cedar point horror" yields the following:

Edit: Can I have $25 of your winnings please? I need to start saving for food at the park. :) *** Edited 5/16/2007 2:44:32 AM UTC by halltd***
Yes I've seen it! A grade D minus sci-fi flick that's so bad it'll be a cult. Six foot blonde lady gets taken over by a BEM (bug eyed monster) lays eggs in a haunted house on 250 after terrorizing the whole town. (There's a six foot blonde next to me in choir: she devoured my copy of the flick!)
There's a cameo shot of Dick Kinzel, and believe it or not it's his daughter who's a heroine in the movie. (Discovers the magic antidote) Probably the reason there's footage of the park. Couple of shots of TTD launch, and massive crowds running out the main gate.
Name is something like Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind.
That is really bad. When I think of a movie at Cedar Point I think of some good name actors having an epic fight scene at the top of say...MF. That would be a good movie. Bad guy is on the train, they stop it at the top, good guy takes the bucket up there....and so it happens....
Cedar Point - An adventure waiting for everyone.
If anyone had ever seen anything this director had ever done, they would have known how this movie was going to be. You can't watch it expecting acting and drama. It's a B movie in every sence of the term. A comedy pure and simple. I won the movie at the event and thought it was funny. It sort of reminded me of something they would play on mystery science theater.

Anyone ever visit the movie's website? I remember seeing it a few years ago and seeing that they had posted a storyline for a sequel that was set almost entirely at CP. I believe the site said they wanted to film it in 2005. Needless to say, I think the world is better off without the sequel.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
2005? I think that's when they were there the first time.

Don't forget that scouters for the original Shining movie wanted to use the hotels on site, and would have filmed almost the entire movie at Cedar Point, but wanted to stage a car crash on the causeway, something Cedar Point wanted nothing to do with...unfortunately..
Are you serious? I can see it now. The Story takes place in Castaway Bay. Jack Nicholson is chasing a boy through the halls and waterpark. The boy escapes outside, runs through the midways, hops on skyride. Jack follows him and catches the next bucket. The buckets not going fast enough. So Jack climbs on to the tow rope. He shimmy's his way onto the top of the boy's bucket just as it reaches the platform. The boy continues running. He makes it to Breakers and runs into an unlocked room. Jack is close behind. Just then Jack looks in the mirror and notices the letters, "Red Rum"
