Its no secret that it takes something speical for me to change my coaster list around. I don't see a point in keeping a top ten list but keeping a top two or three of each wood and steel is cool and all I do.
I went down to Kennykon with my parents, my brother (Miss Hover) and Mindy. Now I have only been to MFK once in my life back in 1995. When I was there I got about 30 laps on the Steel Phantom and actually enjoyed the ride. I have had several opportunites to go but I ended up going to CP instead or having inventory.
I will skip the boring details of the day and get to the revenge. The first time we rode we sat in 71, WOW! I was blown away. The first drop is great, I personally love sweeping drops on coasters that don't have OTSRs. The second drop was insane. I loved it. To me the speed going into the first turnaround felt a lot faster than Millennium Force. Then the Gs during the pullout by the T-Bolt and turle were amazing. The dips and the airtime was insane, fast, violent and I just love every second of this ride. I was worried that with the Morgan trains the airtime that I love wouldn't be there. (ie Steel Force has the Morgan trains and I am not a big fan of the airtime) All in all I thought it was amazing. When I got off the train I had this feeling that I have only had twice before in my life and that was when I got off Magnum for the first time and when I got off Shivering Timbers for the first time. It was a feelling of nirvana a feeling that I just can't explain. Its a feeling like OMG this thing should be outlawed becuase it was such a life changing experience.
If I was sentenced to die and I had my choice of Phatom's Revenge or Millennium Force, I would take PR in a heart beat!
1. Magnum XL-200
2. Phantom's Revenge
3. Millennium Force
1. Shivering Timbers
2. Boulder Dash
3. The Villian
