Motel 6 Milan Ohio

I stayed there about 3 weeks ago (gosh, time goes by so fast). It was a great hotel for the price and unlike most motel 6s had an interior corridor. The hotel was easily accessible right off the interstate and on the "main drag" that eventually takes you to Cedar Point. The outdoor heated pool was also very nice. The room itself was like living in a European hostel; very compact and new ikea-ish furniture (they call the newly designed rooms "Phoenix Rooms"). The rooms you could tell were clean and they had faux-wood floors (which is SO much nicer than those dirty, stained carpets most motels have). Best thing was the price considering how nice a hotel it was; it ran over $60/night including tax. And even though it didn't include breakfast, we went to Steak 'n Shake a LOT that week (Tip: go on eBay and see if people are selling the restaurant discount cards, and find the one that has the Stake 'n Shake BOGO sandwich promo... their Triple Steakburger is very good.)

( And this review is coming from someone who vowed never to stay in a Motel 6 again after a horrific experience in Staunton, Virginia. )

I've been there twice for two trips I've taken. One was a typical double queen room, one was the queen suite. Both rooms were quite nice and enjoyable. My only complaint there is I hate hospital towels, and the AC units smell as always :P

However, during the season visits if I stay on point it is there, off season is the knights inn on Rt 6 as well.
