Our trip is coming up and we haven't bought our platinum passes yet. I'm trying to decide whether to buy online (extra $3 fee per pass) or wait until we get to the park. Now that the park is open, I'm hoping someone has the answers to the following questions:
1) Can I just show a printed voucher at the parking booths or do I have to pay the first time before I get my vouchers processed and then get it reimbursed at the Season Pass Office?
2) What time do the season ticket purchase windows open on weekdays?
3) What time does the season pass processing office open on weekdays?
We'll only be there for a few days, so I'm hoping we can get the ERT for the first day, but it all depends on what time everything opens.
Yeah, I saw that, but it says "normal operating hours". I don't know if that means 9 AM for ERT or 10 AM for general public or a little before 9 AM or what, ya know?
Are you sure that it is $3 per pass?? I buy multiple passes on line and I have only paid $3 TOTAL for all of them. I think that it is $3 per transaction, and not per pass (a transaction being everything that you order during one online session).
Why ride coasters? Becuse there is NOTHING better to do than riding a coaster!
1) just show your printed voucher at parking booth
2)8 or 9 am
3)same as above
Pepsi Refresh is saving one coaster at a time: http://pep.si/bTTsfc
^ cpcoasterhaven: I swear it used to say $3 per pass, but the only thing I'm seeing now is per order. Thank you very much for bringing this up.
At this point, I'm definitely leaning towards buying online and printing the vouchers. Hopefully they do let me into the parking free when I show them the voucher. Everyone said that would work before the season started, but I never saw anyone post whether it actually did or not. It sounds like even lots of KI platinum pass holders had to pay for parking and get it reimbursed early in the season, so I wasn't sure.
