More Celebrities at CP

How on earth do models and one of the largest magazine company's make there millions then.
Then you have several top ten artists who do not write there own music. N'Sync, Backstreet Boys, and Bare Naked Ladies, just to name a few. In fact some of the Real Slim Shady's songs aren't so real. Non of them are celebrities?

How dear anyone ever mention BNL and boy bands in the same breath! Blasphemy!
Folks, Brit doesn't have implants. If you look at the difference between her publicity photos two years ago (she was 16) versus current photos, you have to consider that she just grew up. My better half went through the same thing over the same time period (and nature was far too generous). She just grew up, like most teenage girls do.
As far as talent goes, I wouldn't say that the pop girls and boy bands are talent-free. Some of what they do (especially the boy bands) is contrived, in that they were formed to make cash, but these guys work their butts off to be what they are. And despite the myth, many of them are involved in the writing of their music, more and more as they evolve.
Besides, when every other sector of music is sucking like an industrial strength Hoover, the return of true top 40 isn't such a bad thing.

I know there not implants jeff and they do work hard but its fun to tease about it when you despise that type of music!! Heck people call my Korn and Rob Zombie noise and I take it all good natured... Your scaring me though..your not into that music are you?? :) :) haha

Not that they need defending, but since they're such good guys I should point out that not only do Barenaked Ladies write all their own music, they are all accomplished musicians who honed their skills by years of playing (busking, actually) on the streets of Toronto.

As a loyal BNL fan of over 5 years, I am apalled that someone thinks they don't write their own music. Anyways, Britney's music is ok, I don't own any CD's, but it doesn't bother me like some people. However, she is definitely nice to look at. :)

i can do without Britney Spears and any of the boy bands, that's for sure...Britney will not always be so pretty and really, makeup artists and hair stylists can do wonders, guys!! now, you put U2 at CP and i'm there!! mmmm, Bono...
although, i do agree that BNL are a bunch of good guys(they were playing here in Chicago for YEARS before they hit is big. MAJOR local favorites) and the return of a true top 40 is kind of refreshing. just wish it wasn't ushered in by such mindless drivel...of course, i really shouldn't talk, as i was in High School when MTV debuted and David Lee Roth was king of the world and all those pretty boys from England were big time celebs(coughdurandurancough..still touringcough):):)

The Cleveland Indians team frequently visits during long home stretches with days off. It helps them loosen up. In fact, when I was waiting for Raptor (There was a body... accident on the brake run) the ride op mentioned that Fred Durst, Kid Rock, Matthew Perry, and a lot of last year's Michigan Wolverines football team had ridden Raptor under his operation.
