Monster Midway Invasion Celebration!

Ok, since I was spending the entire weekend at the point anyway, I decided to re-record the parade. 10-11-2009

It was funny when I was in line for Maxair in front of these two girls who didn't know there was a parade. it just ended and all the costumed people from the parade were walking back by maxair to go get changed at wherever they go, and the girls must have repeated like 20 times "wow, they MUST be from a parade or something!!" I wanted to tell them that there was a parade, but then I realized that I'd better just let them go and I listen to how funny they sounded.:)

By the way, for those who thought the parade had stuff removed, it did not. It actually has at least one thing added this year. The tractor is now pulling a trailer with kids in it. Almost like a Hay Ride.

The kids in the trailer are the participants from the kids costume contest. Last year they were permitted to walk in the parade, this year they get to ride in the trailer. The winners of the costume contest are in the two antique cars.

Huh. I thought that witch inflatable blew out into the lake during a big storm a few years back. Never thought I'd see it again!

oh no the witch has been there every year. except for this year it has been the same person for the past 2 or 3 years

edit: unless of course by big inflatable witch you meant the float (which would make sense) and not the big inflatable wearable witch.

The idea of the inflatable, wearable witch costume blowing into the lake with somebody inside of it just made me lol. :)
