Millie Seat Belts

I'm afraid that the events of 5/31/2003 mean we're stuck with seat belts.

The belts are not all that functional as a restraint, and are certainly not necessary. But they can be a powerful witness if things go worng.

Those long belts on Blue Streak are really quite useful. That means you can fasten the belt before sitting down.

The seats and lap bars on Millennium Force are quit adequate, in that it's the ride where Intamin finally got it right. I honestly can't say the same for Superman: Ride of Steel at Darien Lake.

I don’t see that Millie has a seat belt

I prefer the curves on the top photo, and I suspect that "Millie" is probably a more exciting ride.
