MillenniumForce down 6/24

I went on CedarPoint.com today and I looked at the news on the bottom of the screen and it said " MillenniumForce will be closed today 6/24". Does anybody know why its closed and how long it will be closed? Thanks. :) *** Edited 6/24/2006 1:30:50 PM UTC by Jerreus***

I just saw that myself, and I was gettring ready to post and see if anyone knew what was up. I thought everything was back to normal for our big blue friend...

As long as it's better by the 27th.

As long as its running on the 4th I will be happy. Thats my next trip... The lines will be so long, but I love the fireworks... and the 56 ft long Brat Grill... :)

Yeah it was closed yesterday too, I was watching the Funcam. TTD seems to be running perfectly though.

I saw that MF was closed on the "ticker" too. Does anyone know the reason that its down? Its starting to look like TTD and MF are switching roles this season ;).

I sure hope it's up by 28th,I'd hate to have had 2 trips of no Millennium. I havnt been on it since may 11 and I've been itching to get on. It's surprising to see it have this much downtime as appose to Dragster.

Theres a difference. They still hit interval when its running as opposed to dragster. Because it used to break down after two or three trains. ;)

It was closed at about 11AM on the 23rd.

Thats interesting, because on the Cedar Point blog, wasn't today the day the 50 guests that won supposed to ride Millennium Force all morning with Tony and Tyler?

That's really too bad on their part... I hope it's up again ASAP!

I went last Sunday and it didn't open until about 5:00. That's weird that it has been down this much. I wonder if the 50 riders got on before it went down, or if the get to reschedule it.

NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO. I hope its running on the 25th. i went earlier this year and it was down.

I was one of the lucky few who won the On-Point contest to get ERT on MF. Obviously, we couldn't do that today but they let us ride Dragster which was fine by me. We asked what was wrong with MF and he said the left hill was broken again and that the part was being mailed in, and an engineer to put it in. Anyways, he said it would be down today and if it would open tomorrow it would be, and I quote, "very,very, late in the day."

I was told by am empolyee that it was hit by lighting during the storms they had there.

I hope it is too. As sad as it is to say tomorrow is/was the first time i am/was going to ride MF. If not tomorrow then maybe the 26th.

The possibilities are endless: Catch Car, Lift Cable, Lift Motor, Counterweights, etc. etc...

I need some inside sources ;)

T &T say it's an electrical problem. Who knows?
