^And that's where Intamin's flaw comes in. It could be time restraints, money, or just poor designs.

I love Intamin but we all know they have their faults. It's not like an airbag can deploy for no reason on a passenger and Ford (or any car maker for that matter) can say "Well, airbag systems are very complex, we need to work on that." It obviously won't cut it.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

It's the lift motor again. The motor they replaced last month or so was supposedly not the correct motor needed to power the lift as it was too small, so alas, the motor blew around 9:30 or so on the 4th. I have a feeling this is going to take awhile.....

It works for Toyota.. bad U-joint welds, faulty catalytic converters, leak in oil-supply line for variable valve timing, and vehicle drifting and their response was "The Avalon is the most complex vehicle Toyota Division sells, so just by definition it's a problematic vehicle,"

Same thing with the steering issues on all their cars.

How depressing. Not saying that there aren't 2350983 other things to do at the park, but it's still sad just the same.

True, there are plenty of other things to do, but that means all the other lines will be longer since people won't be in line for MF.

Hopefully it will be fixed again soon.

exactly...

I have never left the park so early until yesterday. I didn't feel like re-riding the rides. 2 hours for Raptor, TTD, 45mins for WT, and 1 and 1/2 for Mantis arn't worth it for me..

"Water will be involved." MrScott 2006

From what I hear, it will be broken until at least next weekend.

Does
30mm something ring a bell to anyone?

Last night I was watching the people kinda fix MF and when they were leaving I heard the "more fancy looking, probably smarter" guy says something about
"Well if you have a 30mm...something..."

He was talking to one of the workers at CedarPoint. I guess hes a worker at CP but he looked more...up in the positions. (u get what I mean)

oh I said this in another post but not sure if anyone saw it.
They were under/in the station area and were moving the cars back into position.
Blue car in the reg. unloading zone. And the yellow and Red cars were moved into the side track, next to the unloading zone.

Man MF is having more downtime than TTD.

Probably the size of a tool, drunkinmonkey.

Yeah but airbags do not need to deploy, reset, and repeat hundreds of times a day.

Zach: Actually, from what I heard, the last motor was too powerful, not underpowered. :)

Maybe they forgot to put in the motor after they took it out last time? :)
