I went to Millennium Mania Thursday the seventh. I totaled 46 rides on Raptor, including 33 contiguous rides on the same train without getting off (talk about having your brains scrambled). At one point, I had an entire Raptor train to myself. I doubt if either of those two things will ever happen again, even during the rest of the Millennium Mania event.
That was followed by 12 consecutive rides on Millennium Force (MF), for an evening total of 14. Since the special access gate was open, you could walk through from the exit platform back to entrance without going through the line again.
The next day (Friday the eighth) on MF, the special access gate was open only for a short while. After about three guest illnesses in short order the gate was closed, though I don’t know if the illnesses were the cause.
Power Riders: If you’re not planning to attend Millennium Mania, reconsider. It’s well worth $19.00, and would still be worth it if there were many more people in the park. If you have a parking pass, it will be honored (but not your season pass, as this is a special event). If you thought like me that it would be years before you could get a dozen rides on MF in less than an hour, you owe it to yourself to go to Millennium Mania. In sort, it ROCKS.
