Millennium Force in 2002

I know this has been brought up before, but since the season has closed, a few new things have come up. Obviously, Wicked Twister is the new main attraction at Cedar Point. Then, in the CP Resorts Newsletter, it stated that CP Resort guests will be allowed to enter the park half an hour before the GP is permitted in.

Whats your opinion with the half-hour running-of-the-resort-guests? And what do you think they'll run to first? MF or WT?

Although Wicked Twister is the first of it's type for CP, I still think people will run for MF.  Especially in May and October when crowds seem to be more local.  There is an Impulse up the road.  I'm really excited about WT, however, If I had to choose between WT or MF, as the first ride of the day, I would run to MF, Since it is still a one of a kind, until it's beat (hopefully by another CP coaster).  I think a lot people will feel the same. I think for awhile WT will have a running of the bulls, but I don't think it will last for long.

Its just want ever they like, It does not matter the ride they might run to could be DT, or Mine ride. You can never tell what people will do

with the exception that only certain rides are open for the morning ERT.. And Mine Ride and DT aren't two of them...

I hope people in the marina can go in early too.

Anybody know exactly how they will control those who get in and those who don't. Like at the marina.  I'm guessing that when you check into the hotel you get somethign like a pass to accompany your ticket so you can get in early.  How will they control the marina?

No one said the Marina would be open, only that they hope Marina Guests will be able to enter.

And I questioned as to how they would control the marina crowd?  Didn't mention that anyone said that the marina gate would get ERT.  I may have been unclear about that.

they can get in line for rides like DT or mine ride or anything!

I hope they do let the boaters in early, everyone that has a boat has a marina pass, which has a symbol on it like the joe cool club. So all they would have to do is check the pass.

That boater pass sounds neat actually. Never seen one.:)

Ya, there pretty nice since I have one, but you have to have a boat in the Marina and there is about a two year waiting list.

Two year waiting list?!? Good thing the resorts don't have the same long waiting list.

Even though they let the Marina people in early it still did not matter cause when they got there there were already about 20 or so employees waiting there to all those who we made mad I want to appologize but hey it's a perk what are you gonna do ya know?

My opinion is I think Millennium Force will be just as GREAT and as POPULAR as it is now in 2002, because I'm not really sure if many people will like Wicked Twister.

But, on the other hand, many people will want to try and ride WT first because it's new and exciting, and it's at the front, and  it also takes a long time waiting for that kind of ride, so it would cause MF's line to sim down a bit;) For starters!

It really doesn't matter how early they let them in It they don't have ERT on a ride.  None of the rides really open until the park does.

Right.but I agree with those who said the guests could run to any one ride for all we know all the guests could make a beeline for Chaos.You just never know with people.

that is true also.  The park does let guest in early on some days as it is now.  As soon as the national anthem plays the gates are opened and in come the guests.  Alot of the times the rides aren't open when they do.  So I really don't see much of a difference.  Even if the resort gate lets the guests staying in the hotels in early how long is it going to take for them to ride that ride and is a 5 minute wait really that bad?  There are about as many off duty employees in line for MF as there would be guests.

never the less I still Love Millennium Force as much as I did when I first rode it almost two years ago.And yes I will ride Wicked Twister alot but I may ride Millennium more.
