Hey! My name is Tom....I was on the MF crew last year. You guys are going to have an amazing summer. If you want advice, let me know! I'd be glad to share the pros and cons of the ride :)
but raptor's better... right?!
yah. admit it.
actually, MF is a lot of fun to work, as long as you can keep your cool at entrance and crowd, you'll have a good time!
my name is ben and i will be enjoying my first summer at cedar point while working Millennium Force. i will be there from the first day to the last. i was wondering if due to the rides popularity if you had to report to work earlier than you would on other rides.

Yea, I must admit, Raptor is an amazing ride to work at. If you MF kids get a chance to cross train anywhere (ha, I mean WHEN) you should definitely ask to train at Raptor. Plus the zone 1 sups this year kick ass!
Hello everyone, I am working at Millennium Force for my 3ed year. I can't wait to meet everyone an this summer is going to be a lot of work but it WILL be fun. By the way, is anonymous2008 the sup in zone 1 for '07? CHOAS!!!!!
Millennium Force - 2005
Millennium Force - 2006
Millennium Force - 2007
Anonymous2008 is Tom. Not the sup in Zone 1 for 2007.

Who are the sups in Zone One this year? ;)
Welcome to the RECORD-BREAKING-MILLENNIUM-FORCE new and returning employees. I was the Team Leader there last year and spend three-and-a-half-years working on Millennium, so if you have any questions at all please feel free to ask.
You will have, without a doubt, the best summer of your life, and you will meet life-long friends from all over the world.
Your Team Leader for this season is one of my best friends, and someone whom you can trust. You guys will have a great summer, and, when time allows, I will be stopping by to say hi.
Chaos! ;)
Spending time at Applebees after Closing Day with Steph, Scotty, Jason, Ralph, Ben, Betsy, Tony, Brandon, and Tami: PRICELESS

I too will be on Millennium this year. I've worked the ride a couple times before and that does include Controls (btw easiest Controls EVER!!!). I'm anxious to work it again :-D
2004-Environmental Services
2005-Power Tower, Mantis, ride whore
2006-Mantis ATL -> Disney intern for Fall
2007-Millennium Force, left close to the end of June
You've obviously never done Disaster Transport controls.
Load clear *push*
Unload clear *push*
Everything else is automatic. You just look at the video screens all day.
But yea, they are both much easier than the B&Ms.

Like seriously...seeing this thread is SO weird for me. It seems like just yesterday I was working that ride! So hard to believe it was almost 3 years ago now...
Anyway, MF kicks butt! And Scott will be an awesome TL I'm sure :).
Also a big congrats to Ott!
One thing I don't miss are the dummies....I think I have scars from those things! Good times ;).
Kara (car-uh)
maXair controls are super easy too. But Wildcats are the easiest. You don't do anything but watch the cars on the ride. LOL

Wildcat's controls isn't the easiest, its hard to stay awake there. :) This position is best for the few that can sleep with their eyes open.

I bet my dummy scars are worse! I completely sliced open my finger when Mike D-V dropped it while we were taking it out, and I could see all the way to the bone!

Hey Top Thrill Dragster, were you there in 06 when our TL droped a dummy on his foot and had to go to 1st aid?
I heard about that. Technically, anyone who lifts the water dummies should be wearing steel toed boots. Of course the ride hosts must wear white shoes.
