My fondest memory of Millennium Mania was actually the Raptor rides. At that point, I had done some of the TV shoots and the media day for MF, but I never had quite so many consecutive Raptor rides. Rest assured, I learned there was such a thing as too much of a good thing.

I learned that exact same lesson. When Raptor opened I got a cheap hotel and stayed there the better part of the first week. The park was empty every day, the new ride ran full capacity, and there was never a line of any kind. Between that Monday and Tuesday I rode Raptor over 50 times, just because I could. And I was young. I woke up Wednesday morning with the worst case of vertigo I’ve ever had. The room wouldn’t stop spinning and I could barely walk. It took most of the day for it to subside and I spent my third day riding the train.
In 1996,Raptor was the one I rode the most. I didn't ride it in 2017,can't anymore, the ending double helix destroys me,everything else about the ride is fine.
Millenium Force in the summer of 2000,lines were 4 hours. The queue area used to extend onto the concrete towards the train station. It got so bad, they would give you a time stamped ticket at line entrance for when to come back. I never participated in that aspect but I do remember 4 hour lines during peak summer days.

I remember the 4 hour line that should have been 3 hours with an hour worth of breakdowns added on,
First ride; Magnum 1994
There is a glass box in the MF line, I read somewhere that they used to have a live band playing there or something?

It was a DJ.
At one point, Magnum, Power Tower, Raptor, and Millennium Force had them. They had some guest interaction by taking song requests, and adding their own pizazz by asking how the crowd was doing and other things pertaining to their visit.
I really liked when they did music/tv/movie trivia between songs.
Until they started it with "Rob if you're here you're not allowed to play."

The worst I ever saw were the four hour waits for Millennium Force on AAA Day the Sunday before Opening Day 2000. The yellow train wasn't ready yet so it was two train operation on what wound up being a hot, busy day.

I can very clearly remember the queue for MF bleeding out into midway and wrapping its way well into the Frontier trail well past the red Garter Saloon. That in addition to that concrete area underneath the final turn being filled as an additional queue as well. That being said, I actually dont feel like the line was anywhere near 4 hours long, but I could be wrong as I was fairly young. I feel like I waited more like 2 hours. But back then the MF queue was FAST. Like they pumped people through it really well.
Also, I wanted to ask someone about a after hours event CP had that I managed to attend that sounds like it was similar to Millennium Mania. I dont remember the details very well. I would have to guess that it was anywhere from 6 to 9 years ago, and I believe it happened during the height of the summer season in June, July or August. I dont remember what it was called but I believe it is something I just happened to stumble across that they briefly advertised on their website. I have never owned a season pass for Cedar Point as I live 7 hours away. But I remember I had the trip date booked months in advance, and they just so happened to have this after hours event on one of the days I was there. I remember I had to stop by I think guest relations sometime during the day of the event, and pick up a special ticket or wristband or something. I want to say if you were a season passholder you did NOT have to do this extra step. I also dont believe there was any additional charge. But basically they kept MF and I think maybe 2 or so other coasters open for an hour past close. I remember MF was a complete walk on with maybe a 2 or 3 train wait for the front row. They opened the gate so you could easily get right back onto the same train you just got off of. It was Amazing! Probably road MF 8 or more times that night and im pretty sure Dragster was another one they kept open. I wish they did something like this today for non season passholders, I would totally plan my trip around something like this, especially if it was free. If anyone has any memory of this event I would like to hear about it!
Sounds like a passholder ride nite. There were 9 last year in 2017.

You should have been there opening day 2000. It was even worse. The line for MF snaked down the entire Frontier Trail to the bridge by the Snake River Falls drop. It was estimated at 6+hours. No joke. I wasn't even waiting for that one. My limit for CP waits was reached for the 4 hour Valravn opening day line in 2016 that snaked down behind the far Sky Ride Station, won't be doing that again! Not even for SV this year...
I was there bright and early for MF’s opening day. We were shocked to see a full queue with the line down the trail to the tunnel. I seem to remember something awful like one train op, maybe two. We spent 3 hours that day, but the ride was awesome and still is.
We also waited 3 hours for Mean Streak on opening day. It was definitely one train and it was excruciating. And the ride was disappointing and still is.
Oh,... never mind.
