I don't know, but they should put something there. It's a good spot.

Millenium force is partially located on an island located in the lagoon/pond between Frontier Trail and the Dragster midway. That island is referred to as Millie's Isle or Millenium Island.

Does anyone have a quick reference map/picture, so I could look at the island.
If it's on hand.
thanks.

The island is in the middle/top of the park. (if you didn't know that:))

It's the island in the middle of this picture.

Thank you so much, both of you.
I definately think they should build something on there. It would be nice scenery, between the water, trees, and MF.
We can only hope I guess.
I love that whole area, the Island, where the train goes, where the Paddlewheel Excursions goes, and all of that nice wooded area. I think I like it the way it is though! I'm sure eventually they will have to put something there, but leave it alone while there's other places to build.
"And let's also not forget--let's not forget, Dude--that keeping wildlife, an amphibious rodent, for uh, domestic, you know, within the city--that isn't legal either. "
That black and white picture just looks so much like 2002. Makes me look at the picture like I did back then too when there was speculation about a new ride going in there. We all thought at that time how can something fit in there?
I'm not sure if you guys would agree or not, but maybe if they did something like Millenium Force, with the station on the main land, well it might be hard to cross the water to get to an entrance, but anyways, the could have the entrance outside of the island, and have the ride go onto the island, and maybe it can pass the Millenium Force once or twice, which would be a cool sight. I wonder if it's big enough to have the MF and a new one. hmm...
That would not be cool.....even if the spelling was correct.
Nicca - At least from riding Millenium and the aerial/satellite photos of the area, it would appear that there is enough room to put part of another coaster on the island. It would have an interesting layout, thats for sure, but it could be done.

CP should build a coaster that starts out in FT and goes through Millie Island, then go back to FT. They could build a special clear tunnel in the water that the train goes through so people can look up and see fish or something.
^ It would be diving into Lake Erie - you wouldn't see much other than greenish-black water and maybe an old shoe.

I don't think I even want to go down into the lagoons even if it was in a tunnel. And I certainly wouldn't want to look out at all the mutant fish in there either. Maybe if they actually manage to get the water looking nice that would be a good idea.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
JuggaLotus: Yes, It definately would have to be quite the interesting layout. But like you said, it surely could be done, I'm sure Cedar Point and Intamin, or another company could work their little minds and make up some plan. Which could be interesting to see in the future. But I wonder if, once on the island itself, if the island is much smaller than what is seems from any skycam, again I guess we'll just have to wait it out.
I HATE six flags: I agree with you, but maybe for the tunnel they could just make it above the water, and maybe get a fishtank with normal fish in it, (haha) that the train could go under, just to well, save us from any scarring of the eyes it could do to us, or children, after seeing, perphaps, a old boot, or one of Cedar Point lovely mutated fish.
e x i t english, BlueStreak64, and Vince982: I guess if Cedar Point does actually build a coaster/ride on Millenium Island, we can just hope they conjure up a plan to clean the ol' lagoons.
Tidbit of information: The lagoons aren't very deep. In most places we're talking a matter of about 3 or 4 feet or so.
I would imagine that the lagoons would be a bit deeper. I'm not 100% certain, but I would assume you'd need more than 3 or 4 feet to opperate the paddlewheel boats.
