Cool. I was just wondering, I was there a couple days ago and MF looks newly painted although I was not looking throughout the whole ride so not sure if they did more panting or not.. It looked all the same color to me but I could be wrong?

Last time I was there, it looked like Millennium was starting to suffer the same dilemma that Firehawk went through with it's new colors.

Well from my standpoint, the "dilemma" is choosing to repaint with GOOD paint and prep the steel properly, or choose to paint it quickly and cheaply. And the "problem" I see is that they've already ran into this before. So your can take your "mother tongue" comment and stick it!;)
Of course there's nothing "cheap" about repainting a steel coaster. And the kind of real good paint jobs require a type of sprayer. I think the problem with Millennium is due to them repainting the entire rails. It looks like the only areas that are chipping are, indeed, the rails which makes sense considering that the train wheels do some wear and tear on the steel.

Has anybody noticed the new paint is lighter than the paint they used when it first opened? Look at the RCDB pic below from 2000 and the YouTube POV link from fall of 2011. You can see the difference of the paint while going up the hill in the POV video.

My point is that the shade of blue they originally used in 2000 is different than the new shade they're using.

I'm not so sure it is a different shade. You are basing that assumption on a still shot taken over a decade ago and an HD video, and there are a lot of other variables as well (besides better technology), such as time day, light exposure, etc.
And as Adam said, new paint is new paint, but I still bet its a pretty close match.
