Michigan's Adventure Platinum Pass @ CP

I believe I read on here that the MiAdv Platinum Passes do not work at Cedar Point Parking Gates and Entrance Gates and that you need to "sign in" each day you go.

Does anyone know if it's possible to exchange our Michigan's Adventure Platinum Passes for Cedar Point Platinum Passes when we are at Cedar Point?

With a MiAdv Platinum Pass, I heard you have to pay the $10 to park, get a reciept, take the reciept to Guest Services and ask for your $10 back. (most likely, wait in a line first.) Then you must sign in, by handing the clerk your pass, the clerk then writes down your pass number and let's you enter the park.

My main beef with this paying and getting your money back and signing in everyday is, we will be on vacation in Sandusky (CP) for 2 weeks.

How annoying is that? 2 weeks of having to do that? Please someone tell me we can exchange our MiAdv Platinum Pass for a CP Platinum Passes....

I believe it was said around the start of the season that people getting KI platinum passes could exchange them for CP passes. I haven't heard of anyone who actually did exchange theirs, but if that's true, I would imagine they could do the same for MIA passes. Might want to call the park and ask.

I know when we went to Kings Island, we had to process our pass. My one son and I exchanged ours for the Cedarpoint one and my other son kept his Kings Isaland and we have had no problems getting into Cedarpoint or Geauga Lake WWK.
