And also, if Geauga Lake replaces the g-trains they would use some of the old Hercules trains, which are in great shape, instead of the one WW train. And another thing, they would never make WW worse by putting g-trains on it. WW is a great ride, maybe it's not the best, but it's fun so they would never ruin it.

Then who's to say that they won't buy another PTC 3-bench train? It's not ruining the ride, it's increasing capacity which is something I personally know the managers would love to do.

Froshy, G-trains? That would be the last thing to happen. CF has sated they would like to replace the G-trains at GL and everyone that attended Coaster Con there can attest to that. Why in the world would they then send them to MIA? There is no room for a transfer track on WW without spending way too much money, considering where it is and its layout. MIA doesnt spend money like that, when its not needed. Yeah it would be nice but so would a $35 million dollar Intamin rocket coaster. There is a reason there isnt a conveyor belt being built on Funnel of fear and, why one was never added to the family tube slides. MONEY. Capacity is not a problem on that ride enough for them to ever add a second train. Management has never even mentioned adding a second train to that ride. Yes it would be nice to have but that dosnt meen it will happen. Stop just making stuff up for once.
As far as the station go's on WW i would love to see where you heard that CF wants to do something to the station. Because this is news to me. The only thing I have ever even heard about the station at WW is that airgates would be nice to have. CF dosnt choose most of the little improvements the park. The WW station is perfectly fine and it would be just throwing money down the drain to do anything major to it at this point except airgates, which is a safety and operation thing. And as far as lack of technology goes it is totally fine, manual brakes work fine. And please tell me where CF stated this.
Also if any one sation was gonne get worked on it would be corkscrew. That has a much larger slant, and is not very appealing if you ask me.

Have you ever ridden in a g-train Froshy?? I'm 100% certain that if there were PTC's on the Villian and Raging Wolf Bobs, they would be amazing, but the g-trains don't do justice.
On a side note, where would they put the transfer track that would be necessary for a 2 train op?

Its been a while since I have been too ma, but if I remember correctly ww has a long breakrun before the station(I could be wrong).
I guess the only place to put a transfer track would be to the left of the breakrun over the exit path........again, this (again) is if I am remembering it correctly.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
It could be done, but it would cost a lot and MIA doesnt' really need to worry about capacity at this point.

I'd really like to know who at MiA you're talking to. This is not being considered WHATSOEVER by the managers - now or in the future. And yes, while it would increase capacity, the cons greatly outweight the benefits. A small park like MiA is not going to invest that much money into an old ride like WW just to build a transfer track and buy a new train.
And Froshy, it is about running the ride. There is a reason the when parks have low crowds they run their roller coasters with a one or more less trains, even though they are lowering the capacity. This is because the ride dosnt run nearly as well, and its a waste of time having to continualy buckle empty seats and it is more efficent to send one full train then two half empty trains. Same reason that rides at CP often chain off certain cars on their coaster trains on lower crowd day because its more effiecnt and the ride can run just as well and get a fine number of people in the seats while still doing so.

Yeah, I have ridden in a G-Train and while I find them uncomfortable (terrible, actually), the only good thing about them is the view from the front seat, the same reason I like GCII's Millennium Flyer trains.
I shall not mention the name of the person I have talked to up at the park, but this person is where I have been getting my information about Funnel of Fear and Sundae at the Races from.
The person didn't mention anything about increasing capacity specifically on Wildcat, they only mentioned about the park wanting to increase capactiy on rides. I am just offering the suggestion that some day Wolverine Wildcat could feature two trains. I'm not saying it's going to happen, I'm saying it's possible.
Please, don't take it that I'm saying "the lEMonAid ladie told me taht wildCAT is get a new train!!!1!11!11!1", I'm just trying to say that one of the park's goals right now is to increase capacity, and that somewhere down the road a second train on Wolverine Wildcat may happen.

As much as I would like to see WW and Corkscrew running two train op, it would benefit maybe ten days of the season. Having worked on WW and ST I know how to shorten the wait without having another train. ST had an amazing crew last year, and with the current Team Leader they will no doubt have another amazing crew, which means intervals on ST will be met, and WW will be uloaded/loaded very quickly. MIA isn't at the point right now where they need to worry about capacity, once CF starts the major expansions then they can worry about capacity.
On a side note, stealing names and others things is not cool at all. I shall not mention the names either but just remember that stealing is not cool.

I go to MIA every year just before school starts. It's not crowded at all.
The one thing I hated about Wolverine Wildcat was the operator. He talked with the other op the whole time. Yea, he stopped the ride and stuff with the manual brakes, but then we sat there for 2 minutes waiting for the guy to finish his conversation with the other op. In my opinion, it's not the lack of a second train, it's the lack of good ops. That's not my only bad experience at that park. I once tested the Shivering Timbers ops. I left my lap bar real high and the op who checked it didn't puch it down. I could have slipped out of there if I hadn't of put down the lap bar after the guy passed.
That park is horribly inefficient. That's the problem too. All WW needs is a good op who keeps the thing moving.
The op's on all of the rides constantly change throughout the day, some our great some are not so great, unfortunatly. I can promise you though that the Tl's Supevisors and mangement all do whatever they possibly can to make sure this dosn't happen, and I will continue to do so. However if you se something like this you need to report it to somebody at guest relations, a supervisor, manager, or TL, so the problem can be corrected. You complaing about ti on a forum isnt doing anything at all. Higher up's can;t be everywhere at once and you can't expect them to fix something if they don;t know about it.
I hope nothing of the sort happens like this next summer, and I promise everyone will try there best to make sure it dosnt, but in the case that it does, why don't you correct the problem and tell somebody so it dosnt happen to you again.
Sure ST had some lazy crew members and they were taken care of, but there were also some really good ones that stayed all year round and some are returning. I'm sorry you encountered one of our not so good employees, and would like to ask you to forget about some past experiences and visit again and just enjoy the park.

If I had to pick my favorite crew from the park, it would definately have to be the guys over at Logger's Run closely followed by Shivering Timbers. The Logger's Run crew was very efficient in 2004, and really deserves a pat on the back.
I go to MIA every year just before school starts. It's not crowded at all.
Try going on the last Saturday in July. If you've never seen a full parking lot, you'll see one. ;) It's really weird to see the park so full on those days, yet so empty (I've seen one day where there were a total of 7 cars in the parking lot) on other days. Really, it's worth a trip if you live nearby just to see the full parking lot. Those kind of days are when I go to take pictures, as there's always tons of people having a great time.

I was the ATL of Loggers run in 2004 and I thank you on behalf of the entire crew. We did try very hard at being effiecent and that can be heavily atributed to the TL and some of the great crew that we had last year. I would expect that same amount of effiecntcy next year on Timbers, and WW as I will be the TL there next year, and as far as Loggers Run goes, they will have the same TL as in 2004. He really does know that ride and how to make it run well and still have fun while hes doing that and I would expect to see that continuation of effiecency and guest service on that crew in 2005. We truely did strive last years to be one of the best runs rides in the park, and to here somone mention us as one of the best truely meens alot to me and I really apreciate it.
Just remeber that on ride photos are forbidden on Loggers run, no matter how good of a shot you can get of Timbers, or Wildcat.

Well you guys will be happy to know that the ATL of Loggers is the new TL of Timbers this year. I have faith in him to pull off the job, and wish him luck. Enjoy 2005, it will be a great year.

I don't think there was any time I had a major problem with any of the ride-ops. There was once we had to wait on LR because they had to drain the channel. The people in front of us were too heavy, and the boat was scraping to bottom and wouldn't move. So both of our logs had to wait until they had drained the channel before being able to get out. That's the only time I have ever seen a line build up at LR.
The ops at LR do a really good job of keeping the ride moving and not backing up. I think the times I saw it back up were because a group of guests were being stupid and couldn't figure out how to get in or out of their log.
