MForce Delay

Hey shouldn't this be in the Millenium Force section? THat's what they made different sectinos for. To talk about a certain thing.

Ride Prides at unload? Were they just walking, or were they dispatching too. I only saw them at sitting positions.

I didn't realize that we had a strong Spanish population here ;).

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Ride Prides can only work at sitting positions now. It stinks because the regular crew members have platform only rotations and no 'breaks' at a sitting position. But there was a line on sunday at the enterance because they were asking all the guests to try the test seat. The ride prides do the best they can with their job. But they don't have the confidence to ask larger guests to try the test seat. We were sending trains every 5 minutes because of large guests. Sure it might have been longer to get into the line because everyone was trying the test seat, but while I was there the line in the queues was up the ramp, and the trains were being dispatched much closer to interval then earlier in the day. So you were waiting 20 minutes to get into the line and then about 10 to ride it. But before everyone was trying the test seat the wait was about 45 minutes or longer.

I understand it can be an inconvienence to you if you have to wait to try the test seat and you know you can ride. But at the same time, its easier for us because we don't have to 'single out' anyone to try the test seat. The seatbelt issue is going to be a never ending battle. The guests hate the 1/2 inch rule, the employees can't stand the rule. No one is happy with the situation but we have to deal with it. Again, I apologize for your wait to get into the Millennium Force line.

I know they are currently in staffing crisis mode, but they can’t find a few extra seasonals to help operate their premier ride? Recruit one employee from each zone, train them, and get the ride running like it should be. In fact we all know there is an entire ride crew scattered about without a home for the current time. Two or three extra crew members a day should enough to at least have one at entrance and be able cover breaks.

Ride Prides should only be allowed to work unload and crowd (if that). Not being able to staff their premier ride properly and prevent such nonsense is inexcusable.

THANK YOU SCarolina!! I know it's got to be tough on anyone who works this ride, and Cedar Point will Never admit it. But it was nice to hear from you...and I just wanted to say THANK YOU to you and your team for doing what has to be a delicate job...lord knows I wouldn't want to do it!

Sitting positions only!? OMG! That means that the veteran employees must now work at the unload position (the easiest position in the park to work), and clueless ride prides must staff the ride entrance? That's crazy! What is the reasoning behind that? (Please don't tell me it's because the ride prides can't stand that long).

Does this sitting rule apply to all of the rides? How will they staff Kiddie Kingdom and the Triangle?

That is retarded that they make kids my age(Im not a teenager yet) have to sit in the test seat. They wouldn't need to be tested because they are small. Hopefully that was just a one day thing.

Not to nitpick, but I thought you had to be 13 to post one this site? Am I wrong?

Well, whaddya know. There is a Candy Mountain.

Alright wait a sec... if you're waiting in line for the seat, how could it possibly be a delay? It's not like people are cutting you, there's just a big gap in the line...i doesnt really make a difference. It's actually better in my opinion, cause you're not standing in a hot, sweaty, crammed maze of never-ending people.
