In my experience yesterday, the test seat seemed to reflect exactly what I experienced on the train. I'm not defending the test seat, because I know it's never totally accurate, but for the two seats I rode in yesterday it seemed that way.

I rode the MF and I was on the FRONT SEAT, but I had to wait a little longer because they were bringing the Yellow Train in around 12:30, and that takes a little bit.
"Kw's Phantom's trains got a referb this offseason and were going slower on opening day. I went back this Saturday, and they were running faster, but not up to normal speed. I give it a week, and back to the Phantom we all love."

Indy's back and just in time.
If anything I think there is perhaps a 1/2 inch more belt available than last season. It's certainly not dramatic, but for those who are close, it may help you a bit. I normally pull right around an inch, but I got easily a bit more on Opening Day. I imagine the belts were not actually lengthened, but the way they are set up on the trains was changed.
