MF lady gone for good!

If they did get rid of the music and it's gone for good, that is total ham and eggs on CPs part. There is NO WAY. Let me say that again. There is NO WAY, that the station music was causing any kind of problem whatsoever. Sure I'm not an expert, but this is just out-right stupid. Give us back our music SPANKS!

The MF lady made that ride sooo much better. Her voice sounded so Techno-like, just like the Music, which they also got rid-of, this makes me VERY upset, but what can I do... NOTHING!!!

The G spiel is part of the deal on Wicked Twister as well. I'm sure the lawyers and insurance companies insisted on it with all of the crap regarding people who died of aneurysms in the last few years (though it's ridiculous to attribute these deaths entirely to the rides themselves). I'm sure that if they wanted to spend the money again, they would've got the same voice-over person and mix with the music.

Regardless, the volume for auto-spiel at MF has never been loud enough anyway.

Jeff: Don't give them any ideas. I prefer that auto-spiel to be nearly inaudible!

(FWIW I could never hear the old spiel, either)

Personally, I think the lawyers have gone too far at CP. What ever possessed them to eliminate their ride-specific safety instruction signage in favor of a piece of useless boiler-plate that is the same on every ride from Mantis to Space Spiral?

They should turn up the music again!
I want to personally meet the MF Lady, her voice is the coolest.

Alright I understand the need to tell the riders about Gs, but do half of them even know what Gs are? And if they do, do they know how many Gs their body can handle? I doubt it...

I'll miss that MF Lady.

"And Thats All I Have To Say About That."

Yeah Brent I was thinking what today. We are all not the enthusiast type and know what "negative G's" are. I'm not saying that other people are dumb, but from experience even just a few years ago I probably would have no idea what negative, positive, or lateral g's were.

One thing they at least need to do is make the new spiel somewhat audible, yesterday it sounded horible. A lot of good it does if we can't even understand it.

After hearing how similar the two recordings are for the force and the twist, I think that what you are now hearing in the line for the force was Intamin's recording, not CP, so I doubt we will have the techno music back, even with the added stuff :(

If it was Intamin it wouldn't be in English. Duh.

I don't understand why everyone reads so into these things.

Huh? Someone was talking about Gs in the station? I didn't notice... =)

Welcome to...Millennium Force...

The scanners (lights) and the neon lights in the station are nothing without the music. The lack of music really takes away from the drama in the station.

They could send me tapes of the spiel and the music and I'll mix them for free :)

Wicked Twister...It's effin' awesome!

The other day was the first time I saw a train come in where the ride ops didn't ask "How was your ride!?" I think that the person on the return speils was new or something because they had no clue what to say and messed up a lot. I do think that the lack of music takes away from the ride's atmosphere a lot. I wish that they would bring it back. What harm could it do?

Like anyone listens to the stiff on the recording now where the volume is so low you can barely notice anyone talking anyway.

Snoopy Rocks! On Ice starts June 22--Do you think they'll let me drive the Zamboni machine?

I want to drive the Zamboni!

Ya know you could always bring a a walkman and some headphones duct tape them to your head for safety reasons and you'll get the same effect as soon as you put the MF theme song on from this site. Just an idea ;) I'm gonna miss her. Its sorta sad that we are all cryin (at least I am!) about a recording but oh well....
Actually, you can't because you'll be asked to remove the headphones so you can hear the safty instructions. ;) Of course you can't hear them anyway, but oh well. :)
