mf laps = 100! No More No Less!!
I have so many I can't pick a favorite. I will pick the most unusual memory. It was in early May and the ride was down all day. I heard a rumor that the ride was going back up so I walked over to the overflow entrance and I was the first person in line. I was standing there and I heard the train going up the lift (stupid rollbacks) anyway as the train was going up the lift people saw it and there were going nuts. People were jumping over the railroad tracks when the gates were down. People were jumping out of the Mantis queue, hoping over the fences and running over. People were running down the Frontier Trail. It was INSANE it was a wave of people running right towards me. The funny thing was it ended up being the only train they sent that day! HA!

I was there that day Dan! My daughter and I were at the Paddleboat Excursion when we saw the train on the island-we looked at each other and BOOKED back to Frontier trail--by the time we got there the line was already by SRF. We waited until someone finally came by and told us that MF was going to be down all day. Thing was we were at CP the night before when MF WAS running and opted to hit up Raptor and save MF for the next day.
oops..my idea :(
Of course I had over 40 laps in by then anyway so no biggie....

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight??
Jeffrey, I was in front of you as well. Funny it's a small world.
First open Monday last year. My first visit to CP and one of my most memorable. We went directly to MF and waited about 30 min. As we approached the front it looked as though we would get the back(which is good too) but the people in the front chickened out and we got to ride our first ride of the season on MF in the front row! I will never forget that. NO HANDS!!

GO SHAMROCKS!
GO WOLVERINES!
Wow... it's hard to believe it's been so long now. It seems like only yesterday I was screaming my little head off with glee.

I guess my best memories would be

1. seeing it through the buildings on the side of the lake and annoying everyone as I talked about how beautiful it looked :)

2. First ride, the adrenaline rush that came with it, jumping up and down afterwards, and the realization that Raptor was no longer my favorite.

3. Waiting in line at Millenium Mania for the front seat and finally getting it (while watching my 2 friends get in 5 laps while I waited). Then I was a single rider so one of my friends got to go with me after I had waited that long.

It was SO worth it though. The feeling of wind/protein-rich bugs hitting you at 94 MPH is pure bliss.

Me and the Force have had some good times, let me tell ya. Good times, indeed.
