Memories

What was your favorite memory on MF? Mine was in July at night, and we were climbing what looked like into the moon! It was a warm humid party type night!!! What's yours?
I have three - I distinctly remember watching the first train ascend the lift hill on Opening Day with the Red Cross people, and everyone in the queue cheering when it left and when it came around the final turn. I also remember when I got the front seat for the first time, I considered myself the luckiest person on earth. My final ride of the season at night on closing Saturday was a memorable experience as well.

Guys this coaster has existed only for a year. Don't you think this topic is a little pre-mature?
Power Tower Blaster, many of these types of posts have been made in the past, (like Cp memories). You can search for past threads at the bottom.

but i don't remember a MF memories besides memories can happen any time! I for one remember my first ride and 3/4's of the way up the train felt like it picked up speed! Near the end of the season it didn't feel that way though!

My favorite memory is when i saw it run for the first time back in April 2000. It was awesome. Made me want to ride it even more, but we weren't allowed for 2 more weeks.

Why would it be pre mature? Just look at the non-ending pages of people's comments and memories on the official website.

I'll post mine later. Not enough time right now.
My would have to be driving up the causeway on May 15 and seeing MF in person for the first time.

Mine is similar to Nick's. I came up to a friends house in Sandusky, then rode with him over to the park. When we were cruising along the water, and I could see the structure between all of the buildings and warehouses. It just didn't look real to me, it looked like I was looking at another picture. I just couldn't believe the size!

May 8 and 9 -- the commercial shoot. Rode MF about 40 times and met the woman with whom I would later fall in love. Not bad huh? ;)

TCKR, yeah, I think you killed two birds with one stone right there man. Great job. Mine would have to be riding MF in the front row at 10:45 PM, with sunglasses on. :)
ucsigep, that's EXACTLY how I felt when I first saw it. It looked exactly the same as all the picture on the internet. I figured it would look different for some reason. Once I saw it trough those warehouses, I couldn't stop looking at it. It was a surreal experience and I was thunderstruck.
But maybe it is premature, just like all of the rumors we've had around here. Enjoy life while it lasts, always making and remembering the memories that will stick with you for a lifetime, you never know what the next day will bring. ;)
I have a bunch of memories that will live forever in my life. Of course the first one would have to be driving into the point from the causway on June 9th, 2000 to start work. I had seen all the website photo's of the construction but seeing it on the horizon of the lake was truley amazing. Of course the first ride is always memorable but one ride in paticular stands out. It was an overcast night and while ascending the lift hill the upward facing lights were reflecting in the clouds making it look like we were traveling into the twilight zone. My third memory would have to be working the Force in October during the Millennium Mania two week event. There is nothing like it in the world and being there after an entire season on Bluestreak touched the summer off with a bit of style. Of course this year more memories will be made sue to the fact that I am returning as a ride operator again this year on the Millennium Force and I can't wait to get there in May.

Definatly getting my season pass and seeing it in persons for the first time, then riding it AAA day was just amazing, the HUGE line all the way back to Snake River Falls almost! And getting front car on a warm July night, I CANT WAIT CAN YOU?!?!
there are two of my favorite memories on millennium force. the first greatest memory is my first ride. it was great, a sunny july day, and it felt like we were climbing to the sky but it soon ended with the greatest drop in the world. the second best memory was when i rode it at night with my best friend. we didn't end up riding it until 2 in the morning, because it kept breaking down. people were sleeping in the line, and laying down and sitting to play cards and everything. it took about an hour to fix it, and when the car with people finally came around everyone cheered. when we boarded the train it was around 2 a.m. and we started climbing up the well lit hill. and it was just the greatest experience on millennium force so far. it was actually the last one for the summer that holloweekends night. but there will be this year. i can't wait till may.
I remember taking my first night ride. Seeing the brilliant lit lift hill, and the long line :( But it was well worth it as the traveling in the dark areas was awesome.

[Boy where have I been? Haven't been here since about October Hope to stick around]
