The reverse POV's I've seen so far show light intrusion into the tunnel from the bay side. Where exactly is this in the tunnel?

Kenny was there, but not today. When I got home and watched the morning show, they made it appear live, but it was previously recorded. That is, unless the midway in front of Red Garter is always bustling with guests at 7:55 am. :)

I like the video from Channel 11 (which is Toledo, not Detroit). The girl took her large earrings off at the end of the ride after clearly getting banged hard into the restraint.

Yeah, leaning forward in the restranit is not recomended. And if that still isn't adequate, simply holding onto the restraint should give you enough resistance from the head banging. She makes it look a lot worse than it really is.

Actually she took one earring out because she lost the other one. I guess she should have followed the guidelines of the ride.

Jerry is a machine. I could only take between 20 and 25.

Ugh, and I thought Jason Carr would have known not to call it "The Maverick".

Oh well.

I don't think I saw him get off until it was over. I got 22 myself. But that included 2 donut breaks and a bathroom break. :)

Great to see how well Maverick turned out, even after the delay. Good job everyone who has done a Maverick Marathon so far!

I sure hope crowds are that good for my birthday trip next saturday.

My friend, Sean got 32. And an older guy by the name Bob probably had the same. I missed a lap when I got off to do an interview right on the platform. I love doing interviews. But is hard to do when you never get off the ride! I was greying out a little during the last dozen rides due to needing more food!

I am very sore today. Upper back hurting a little. And bruises on upper arms. But I call them battle scars!!

I just watched the one from Channel 11 in Toledo, I'd have to say my favorite part, by far, was the part where she said "I lost an earring, so if anybody finds an earring..."

^..Exactly why there is signs and warning that say " dont wear earring on Maverick". People just dont listen..lol
