Will there be a media day tomorrow morning? I thought I read somewhere that there was going to be one.
I'm going tomorrow. Does this mean that the ride will be closed to the public or will this happen before the park opens.
When was this announced? *** Edited 5/31/2007 2:22:31 AM UTC by Jerreus***

They didn't announce a media event to non-media? That's crazy talk!

Will any cool new stuff be posted today from the media event?
Cedar Point - An adventure waiting for everyone.
Yeah I found it a tad odd that none of the media outlet's websites had anything about Maverick on them today. I thought by noon at least we'd see something. But, either I forgot how to use Google, or nothing is out there.
Of the media trucks that were there, I didn't see any from the Cleveland area. But someone did tell me they saw Kenny Krumpton from channel 8. I recorded all the news on channel 8 today, so we'll see if I got anything.

TV stations in Toledo that were there today were channels 11 and 24, you can see their report on their websites. I Googled "Toledo television stations" and got both. As of right now, I am still waiting on WJRT ABC 12 in Flint for their report as well.

Keep in mind that there was a funeral for a police officer that was shot in the Cleveland area, so that's the news of the day. None of the Cleveland stations sent anyone (except I think the Fox affiliate). Toledo and Detroit were represented, and oddly enough, two stations from Flint.
Walt shot photos, I shot video, from the infield this morning, and I'm sure we'll both post that stuff eventually. You get a real appreciation for the speed coming out of the tunnel when you're trying to shoot it standing under it. Got some neat shots too standing under the horseshoe roll.
