Media Day

Media day was a lot of fun.

I rode MaxAir four times. . .

. . .the first time was pretty incredible. It really is an awesome ride.

However. . .after much free food. . .and bright sun mixed with cool breeze. . .my tummy got pretty upset.

Just wait till you get to see the improvements for yourself. . .they are great. The whole area looks awesome!!

(And employees. . .the new front of the park break area is gonna be pretty neat.) :)

I ended up with 6 maxair rides today. The swinging and spinning during the ride didn't bother my stomach at all. But, when the ride is beginning to slow down and park and you're still spinning that kind of upset my stomach.

Wonderful job with the media day coverage. Maxair looks like another great addition to CP. Once again Pointbuzz has scooped all the other sites, including cedarpoint.com

I am truly immpresed with Jeff & Walt's effort at keeping us up to date.We got to see what was going on before noon.

I think these guys see the potential of the internet...

I love the different reactions of the people riding maXair in the pictures. One picture everyone is all happy and smiling and then the next picture the reaction is "AHHHHHH"...

Walt, great job with the pics. I just got back and saw my sister and I in the first one :-) The ride is just awesome. Such a rush. We got to go on about 6 times. It's even a bigger rush to ride it with your eyes closed. I can't wait to go back later in the year and ride it at night. We got about 3 rides in before we ate and then went back on a couple more times. Maybe not such a good idea to do that, but who cares it was a great time. I can't believe you end up upside down. Once again, Cedar Point does a great job.

Sound effects. Wow.

This might sound crazy but the best sound effect I heard all day is the auto speil, "Welcome to maXair..."! Though auto speils are annoying, the man just says it so well! (I'm an ethusiast, what do you expect :))

I'll be riding this beast Monday. (this weekend is going to go dirt slow because of that too) I'm thrilled to read the rave reviews this ride is getting from multiple ethusiast and news reporters. Seems as if CP has done it again.
