Mean Streak trims?

I have two words that would fix this problem..TUBE IT!!!!!!!!!!
Don't the trims only slow the train a whooping five mph? The blocks confuse me because they ONLY slow the vehicles when they are running all three trains.
I think the trains are fine, (except those damn headrests, you don't even rest your head), its the track, its rusted, grooved(why?)and dry as a bone! CP has to put some grease on those tracks, or even easier, install a lube gun on the front and havbe continious grease on the track, and get rid of those head rests( just cut them off with a saw, I don't care)!

its the ride, not the records

I rode MS a few times this weekend,a couple in very back seat, and think it is running very weel(cinsidering the brakes! I actually had airtime! It is runnning so smooth!
It did some sqealing Monday, but I think that is due to all the rain and them not lubing track after it dried.
All you thinking it is a rough ride have obviously ridden MF too much!

Mean Streak is running better this season. Unfortunately that isn't saying a whole lot for it, as it has basically gone from "abysmal" to merely "bad." They seem to be doing a better job of keeping graphite on the track this season, but there is still the problem of the train not wanting to follow the track. Sit in the back of the Gemini or Mine Ride train and watch the rest of the train as it goes around the curves. Then sit in the back of Mean Streak and watch what it does and notice the difference. I still think a redesigned train would handle those curves much better than the current trains. But you know, if the current train just had soft seats in it, it would be a lot more fun to ride...!

But the burning question is, have the trims solved this problem the MS seems to be having? The answer looks like they haven't. So why are they still on there?
ok- Mean Streak's trims are to slow the train down because it is going to fast which most of you might already know. I think it was on one of the three rollercoaster shows on monday how they mentioned the trims on Ghostrider. They said that trims are used to slow it down when the trains are going too fast and Mean Streak is the same way it just seems worse because CP has another reason and some people don't understand that they have the trims on the first hill (yes) to slow it down but they are doing that to save the ride. Mean Streak started getting way too much wear on the track/wood on turns and other parts before the trims were installed. Yes it does go too slow. No its doesn't keep it from being a good ride. I can bet that many people that aren't big CP enthusiasts that go to the park just as a family for vacation or something---wouldn't even notice the trims and I bet they would get off that ride and say how cool that was. And it is very cool. Like parts where it goes through the coaster itself. Mean Streak has quite a few cross overs and I think those are neat going through. Yes I admit it is rough, well I havent been to the point yet this year but it was rough last year but I liked the ride as usual and I did notice it struggle on the 2 high turns which felt weird being a little banked and going so slow but I thought the rest of the ride was fine. I do think some new trains could fix this. OK I WILL END THIS NOW SO... THAT WAS MY OPINION. *Feel free to correct me on anything here*:)

Superstew- Actually I would like to know that too!
If the trims have solved the problem then they will most likely remain on the ride if not, I think CP will come up with some kind of idea but I hope someone can find out if the trims have helped.
