Mean Streak

Oh well - I am still going to try it!!

-One night I was looking at the stars and wondering, "Where the heck is my ceiling!?"
Yes, you should definitely try it.
I love the Mean Streak. I usually try to get on it twice in a row in the morning while it's a walk-on. Two times is enough for me, after the second, I seem to get a headache. So you should definitely ride it.

aw this is definatly one of the sweetest looking roller coasters. I still want to go on it!!

Oh, what are you going to do? Suck me to death!?

Gemini Count - 13 laps =)
I worked at CP in 91, when it opened. When the park opened for the season, they were NOT finished with the coaster! They ran it with no breaks and no lighting at night! It was excellent! I can clearly remember though, the ride was a smooth one for a wooden coaster and for not having any back breaks to slow you down! I believe they didn't get every thing done until mid June! From there, it seems to go down hill.
well then maybe they should kill the brakes...

Thumbs up !!! Even better at night when no one is back there (non MS fans). I admit it's a rough ride. I like getting beat up a bit after a few beers, it's a diffrent rush.
If I remember right from past discussions about Mean Streak here. Taking off the trims would tear the coaster apart. Bottom line is this

Mean Streak: Pleasing on the eye, and a tad smoother then a ride inside of an innertube down a bumpy hill.
lmao its still a cute coaster

driving back to soak city lot, it is way cool looking, but i have to agree, its not near as fun as it looks like it should be.

In 1991 I was one of the first 75 to ride and it was a top notch wooden coaster. However, 10 years later, when I thought this ride would peak to it's greatness it has gotten worse.

As Ride of Steel says, "At least it looks nice."
I loved the coaster in its day...its still a beautiful coaster looking at it..but i still say to tube it!
I used to ride this thing as many times in a row as I could stand, usually 6 or so times right before the park would close for the night. That ws when it was new. It was my favorite. I for one, loved the roughness of it. But now, with the heavily trimmed first half, only really enjoy the second half.
