We got to the park at around 2 in the afternoon on Sunday and the park was somewhat crowded depending on where you were and what you wanted to ride. We rode the Magnum first about a 10 minute wait, not bad, walked on Gemini and Mean Streak. Dragster had about a 2 hour wait and Millennium had a hour and 30 minute wait so we decided to skip those two. We did a little walking went on Disaster Transport 10 minute wait, by then it was 6-7 o' clock, it looked like rain. So we decided to leave the park at about 6:45, and then on our way back to Breakers Express where we stayed it poured rain for about two hours, we were watching the radar and looking at it, it looked like the rain was going to end, eventually it did.
We decided at about 8:30 to drive back into the park and park in the back by Magnum, on our way back we noticed that the entire front parking lot was almost totally empty! it was aabout 8:45 the rain stopped we left the car and went into the park to see nothing running...until we got till the Frontier Trail, we saw Millennium Force working! The park was totally dead, everyone left because of the rain. We saw Millennium was open so we got over there and quickly and got in line, there was no line!! They were running two trains red and yellow. We got right up to the platform and no one was up there, the train wasn't even half full!! It was amazing, I think the rid ops were even so surprised that everyone left and it was able to reopen. We got on it twice in under 10 minutes!!! Talk about lucky! That was about all that was open for the night after the storm, Iron Dragon was open so we ran over at about 9:50 to catch a ride on that sat front seat, only one on the train. Of course Dragster never opened for the night after the rain.
Monday-Memorial Day the park was empty. Walk-ons just about everything except Dragster had a hour wait. We got on Millennium again with about a 10 minute wait at 11 AM. Did a few rides on Magnum, Gemini, and Mean Streak and called it a day. Overall, a very good and lucky trip to Cedar Point.
