I live in Cincinnati, so it took 4 hour32 mins to get up there. We left our home at 10:15am, and arrived at Sand Castle Suites at 5:07. We had decided to stay closer to the park this time, so we pick Sand Castle Suites. When we arrived and got to the room we couldn't figure out how to open the door with the card in, so the manger came of and he got it open on the first try(You just had to push hard and force the handle down, sense they were new locks). The room was very nice and new, they had just spent $5million's in renovation and it look like it. Two flat screen T.V.'s, it was divided up into three rooms. The main with a couch, round table with two chairs, two queen size beds. The Shower and toilet were seperared from the sink. There was a microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and refrigerator. (The refrigerator came in handy to help keep things cold that couldn't fit in the cooler).
After we unpacked, got our starlight tickets, and headed to the park. (The bug problem had already started) This was the first time back in the back or the area so it was kinda neat walking round, and hearing the riding in the distance. We got to the resort gate at 6:06, and heading to the Magnum, it was a two train wait and felt good riding after that long car ride. Then we walk over to Top Thrill Dragster and see that the wait wasn't on the ramp it was in the station, it was a four or five train wait. We then headed to the front of the park so see how the crowds were. Saw that Raptor didn't have a line it was a walk-on. Then on to BlueStreak, which was a walk-on to. Then back to Millennium Force with a ten min wait. From up top we saw Maverick running so that was our next ride. The Force was great, nice a smooth as always! We head back to Maverick to wait 32 mins, then rode again with 13 mins for front seat, then the end the day off a 5 min wait. While riding in front, at the end of the ride the train went right through a HUGE swarm of bug's, which was nasty. We left the park out the resort gate, we had wished to park our van in the Sock City parking lot. I also got Maverick light jacket, it was 30 bucks.

Got up around 7:30am to get ready and put on lots of sun screen, got our Funday Ticket's, got in the van and drove to Sock City lot which helped out later in the day. We get to the resort gate ten mins till nine for early ride time,Maverick,Millennium,Iron Dragon,SkyHawk were on the list, Raptor maybe to. Gates opened then the day began, most everyone headed to Maverick so we did to. I start say “I hope its running and not down” well guess what it was down. We waited 20 mins for it and decided to ride something else, SkyHawk was in our path so we rode that, only one flight wait. Next was on the Force, by now its round9:30 so the line for the Force was down the ramp. We rode that two more times then went on the Mantis, walk-on second row. We stared to walk back up toward the front and rode Iron Dragon, with again no wait. Then we headed over to Magnum and rode in sit 1-3, which gave HUGE air time. By this time the park was starting to full up, so we headed to Cedar Creek Mine Ride which had no wait. We were thinking about getting on Top Thrill Dragster but the line was getting close to 45 mins and to me it just isn't worth waiting for it. So we went past it and got on the SkyRide to see how the crowds were. Raptor had a nice long line, so we headed over to Wicked Twister, which was a four train wait. We walked though Plant Snoopy so see how it was, it look nice with all the bright colors, and the fresh new look. After that we head over to Cork Screw, not even a wait for the front so we took it. I remembered last year it being rougher, but this time wasn't that bad. Then front that we saw Power Tower didn't have much of line, so we rode both sides with in 5 mins or so. Then we decided to wait for Top Thrill Dragster, it had just opened up so the line wasn't to bad, we got the second seat( After riding so many times in the past it still seems like the launch wants to go right though you, when you get pushed back in the seat). We headed over to Raptor to a nice lower line that was on the stairs. Then rode BlueStreak, and went up in Space Spiral to see the parking lot. The rest of they is a blur but after Wicked Twister we ate at Coaster Dinner In. Don't remember what it they were called but, we got two cheeseburgers with fries, a medium mountain dew, and a milk shake. It came out to be 30 dollars. This guy who was sitting across from us was say to his group that “You'll have to rob bank to pay for any thing in there” He had some kind of a shake in a plastic cup with coaster pictures around it, and he said it was seven or closer to eight dollars. For dinner we left the park and ate at Macdonald's,and got two five dollar foot longs at Subway, which with both cost 21dollars and made three meals. And was a lot cheaper then getting In the park. We ended the with riding Millennium six time in a row, with in around 90 mins. There was this guy in a bright yellow ish green ish shirt that said “Cedar Point Single Rider” we say him in the morning and one of the times we say him getting off the train some body asked “how many today” he redyed “next one will make40” he must had ended the night with round 44 or 45 rides. We got the second to last train of the night. We were walking out of the park at 10:30. I ate the rest of my BLT sub, it tasted to so good.

Got up about the same time, got there sort gate ten mins early. From the fact that Maverick didn't run at all the day before we were wondering what would take it's place for early ride time? The gates open at 10am sharp, and we were heading over to Millennium, but we saw Top Thrill Dragster running. And it was opened so we get in line. From it being so early only first three rows were being loaded, the back station had the same amount of people in the all threes rows so we waited for front, it was four or five trains wait. There were no roll backs that I could see, they were all making it over. So it was our turn, seating there waiting to go got me all excited. Roll out and launch, fell your face being pushed back and cheeks flapping and the light mist at the end of the launch track was undeliverable. The hole wait for front was 15 mins, after we got off the line had really grown.
The rest of the day is big blur, we went up the Space Spiral and saw all those bus's!! From the bus's the park was crowed and packed. Laster in day we rode Gemini two time's, which was racing! Gemini is much better racing then just one train making laps by its self. In the morning we rode Skyride to seethe longs at the front of the park, and Raptor looked like it was close to an hour and a half or more. And Maverick was still down the hole day again. And again we left the park for lunch and dinner, again was cheaper then eating in the park. At the end of night we rode Millennium six times in a row, that was amazing!!! Could have made it seven but I had to us the restroom. The first ride had a delay from weather, but they opened it back up 10 mins later. From that rain there was a two to three train wait the rest of the night. At times in the station it just got CRAZY, all the noise and clapping. The hole station would make noise and clap as the train would leave the station, it was wild. The crew was nice enough to open the gate on the unload platform so if you wanted to ride again you could and renter the station. That saved a lot of time, which helped our ride count. 10:06 was our last ride, and so we headed out of the park, but stopped to the watch the Hot Summer Lights, (think thats what its called, haven't seen it senece 2001)

High points,
So many rides on Millennium.
Ride crews seem os friendly.
Sand Castle Suites was a great hotel, nice and close to the park to take a nap and rest mid day.
Low Point's
The Getway people there near Magnum andCork Screw, they really need to go. They ruin the mood of CedarPoint
Oh and Maverick being down the fulldays, when we were leaving yesterday Maverick was running. So thatwas a huge dissapointment.

So are these people by Magnum here to stay the whole year? Let's hope CP gets a lot of complaints about them so they can take a hike.
Yeah I think they were in two areas at once, not sure.

I doubt the timeshare people will go away before the end of the season since their company's logo is printed on the back of the park map and I assume because of that, they would have a season-long contract. I also think these Bluegreen people are at all Cedar Fair parks since I've seen them at Michigan's Adventure twice now.
Nice TR by the way.
Yeah will if there on the back of park map then, they'll be there for awhile.
I took video while I was there, I'm going to cut it down into a park video.
Thanks arw84 =)

of the ride the train went right through a HUGE swarm of bug's, which was nasty.
LoL. The same thing happened to us on our evening ride on Magnum. And yes, it was very nasty. You are very lucky to have gotten so many Millenium rides. :) I am jealous. But I am sure next time we will probably be doing the same thing. Sounds like you had a lot of fun!
"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"
Yeah it was even worse at the hotel, on the screened in opening, windows, they were ever were. Kinda funny on MF, mid ride and I notice there a dead on my hand, I was like eww lol. The best time was in the station at MF, everyone was excited and pumped up, and making alot of noise. Sad that its over :(.

^ Oh I know what you mean about being sad that it's over. :( I want to go back so bad that it's making me itch. Maybe this is how cocaine addicts feel. lol. I am definately 100% addicted to Cedar Point. And pretty much nothing else. It's my only obsession, and it's a good one! :)
"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"
For me the worst time is leaving the park on your last day, it can be depressing( you wish the park could be open and hour later). But I felt better the next morning, walking around the bench front and taking pictures and video of the park. During my trip it was hard to fall asleep, even after a long day, just thinking about what the next day holds for me. :)
Quote from a Corkscrew ride op, "And Dragster is down again"
At least you got to stay a few days! We only got to go one day. :( And the night before I only got 2 to 3 hours of sleep. lol. Even the next night (when I was at home, and not going back to CP the next day :( ) I really couldn't sleep because I was still pumped up from the day. And the night after that I couldn't sleep that well because I was still thinking of my perfect day at the best place on earth. :)
I think that the worst part isn't leaving the park. The worst part is the drive home. Because that is when it really sinks in that it is over. :(
"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"
To me it hit's hard when were all packed up and leaving the room for the last, and checking to make sure we didn't forget anything. I would say that was by far the best trip we've had in awhile, only down side was the huge number of school bus and gray hounds. They really made the park feel packed, the picture I took Friday from Space Sprial, I counted 137 buses lol.
Quote from a Corkscrew ride op, "And Dragster is down again"
Dang! That would suck. 137 busses. lol. We picked a Wednesday to go...so the park was pretty much empty. All day long it was mostly walk ons. :) But yeah, if I was checking out of a hotel...I guess it would get me there too. But since we only stayed one day, when we left the park we just drove home from there.
"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"
We were think about going earlier in week but, my dad wanted to miss the crowds from the 26 Monday. Now were thinking we should had gone a day earlier. The funny thing about the buses is that there were more at the local hotels. By the last day my legs and feet were ready to go home, they were sore and tired.
Yeah Wednesday was the better day, with low waits and walk-ons. :)

Well, not sure if they've moved or what, but yesterday the stand that had been near Magnum was not there, and the sales people were nowhere to be seen, at least in the back half of the park.
Yeah I was starting to think, they moved there base of operation near Power Tower and Cork Screw. On my last day there.
