This is my second year of going to Cedar Point during the Memorial Day holiday - and each year I have had exceptional luck on ride times!
I usually figure if I get 25 - 30 BIG rides per day, I have had a pretty good day at the park.
This year I got:
Sunday - 19 rides (45 min - 1 hr lines)
Monday - 43 rides (1/2 hr lines)
Tuesday - 53 rides! (very short lines) this included 10 Mavericks, 25 Millenium and 15 TTD
Wednesday - 49 rides (which included 10 Mavericks, 20 Millenium 10 TTD and 8 Raptors.
The early ride times did not help a lot - Maverick didn't really start until 9:30 one morning and Millenium didn't get really going until 9:35 - 9:40 on two mornings (they were unloading the dummies from the trains - which I think should be done BEFORE the 9:00 ERT.
The 8 rides on Raptor were done mid afternoon and the ride was actually walk-on. I did the 8 rides in 80 minutes which included waiting for front seat 4 times. You could literally ride the coaster as fast as you could get from offload back to the load station.
Tuesday night at 8:45 the line for Millenium was so short that they opened the gate between the off-load and load station. If you timed it right and were fast, you could get off a train, go through the turnstyle and get right back on the same train. I think I got about 15 rides in a little over 1.5 hours!
Grand total for my 4 day trip was 163 rides!
80 Milleniums
26 Mavericks
26 TTD
11 Raptors
plus a few other rides
