i was going today but there is bad weather, then i thought about thursday but its physics day so its goin to be too crowded...we are now planning on Monday. We live about 4 hrs away and were goin to drive up for the day...I know lines will be relatively short considering that its a weekday in may...but what worries me is the 30 percent chance of rain...risk it?
I'm going to risk it..............We're making the 8 hour drive Sunday morning to spend Sunday afternoon, Monday and Tuesday in the park. I know the weather doesn't look great but last year we did weekdays in May and never waited more than a 1/2 hour for anything.
^ same thing with sundays in may/early june. Except the holiday, but you knew that :)
Monday May 19 is a Canadian holiday. I've been there on that day for the past 3 years. Many people in the park will have travelled from Ontario. I was on Wildcat a couple years ago and the two girls infront of me and my friend said rather loudly "we're going to go home to Canada to our igloo and pet polar bears." My friend and I laughed and told them we were from Windsor, they were too. Not a horrible day to visit. Relatively moderate crowds and the chance of rain should scare a few people away.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
I remember one year that we went up to The Pinery for a weekend of camping. It was only after driving the 3 hours or whatever up there that my parents realized it was Victoria Day. Crazy Canuck Holidays.

When my wife was pregnant with our daughter, we visited Toronto, unintentionally coinciding with Victoria Day. Got to see the parade and everything. The downside was the ROM was slammed that day, as were pretty much all the attractions.

Ideally I'd rather go to Wonderland on Monday because I was at CP this week and Monday is my next day off, but I know the lines will just be ridiculous.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Corn - Vince was being facetious.
I noticed you're new here too. You might want to start with this thread, and this thread. It should help you out.
Goodbye MrScott

What are you talking about John, the park will be packed this Monday and people shouldn't attempt to visit.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
