Nope, I won't know which cabin until we check in. Every spring, it has ended up being 101 or 102 for some strange reason. I don't know of any AAA discounts--it may pay off to give them (or CP) a call.

Count me in for May 16-20, Lighthouse Point. Requested low 100's for the access to the pool and the nice view of Mean Streak for morning coffee!

We had 105 last year.

Well this thread is actually about some of us who are vacationing at the Point those days... But I may have to stop by the Dragons Inn to get some chicken... ;) Even though if you are processing in that day you will be running to and fro around the park doing all the "first day" stuff...

To all that are staying at LHP that weekend, I wish you a very good time. Don't forget to say "hi" to me if you see me walking around the area, usually early in the morning before the park opens.

Same here, we're usually on the deck sucking down coffee, listening to music. We're from Orlando, so we're bilingual, can speak Disney or Cedar Point!

Ya two years ago the weather was beautiful for us, last year it was a little cold, we pack for everything! We even bring ponchos for the water rides! Cant wait!

Man, now I'm wishing our trip was delayed by a week. Guess we'll have to coordinate this better next year.

Depending on several factors we may take another LHP weekend trip in late August or early September.

Couldn't think of a better place to post this, and not sure who'd even be intersted...

I called reservations yesterday, asking if it were possible to upgrade the two half-day tickets (which come with the resort package) to full-day tickets. It cannot be done.
