Yes, physics day, the wonderful day when students are crawling around the park with funny pop bottles, pieces of string, and a poor knowledge of geometry (you don't need to measure both the circumference AND the diameter, you dolt!) We arrived at 10:00. Because of a little advance planning (and lots of shortcuts, not to mention calculator programs!) we got done with the physics at 11:00. We rode Chaos (walk-on) and Gemini (15 min.) At noon, we rode Raptor (1 hr.) We went directly to MF. Stood in line around about 12:30. 45 minutes later, the trains stopping coming. “We are encountering mechanical difficulties, we don’t know when they’ll be fixed…” NO! *#($ MFer! Got out of line (no time to lose!) and got on Magnum. 30 minute line, plus front seat wait. It’s running smooth! My friend didn’t like it because it hurt his knees though (wuss!) We must be jinxed – right after we rode Magnum, there was one train stuck in the station, we were stuck in a stacking block, and the third train was stuck in the last stacking block! It stopped for a while, then it started again. The train started up the lift, then the lift stopped a third of the way up. An employee ran under the lift and started messing with something. Oh well, we got a ride before it stopped! It was 3:30. We had to be back on the bus around 4 so we grabbed some ice cream and walked back. Near the front, we noticed the Demon Drop was a complete walk-on and our teacher said it was okay to get a quick ride on it. We just ate some ice cream, but this short little ride can’t hurt, can it? Oops. I never rode it before and didn’t think about the G’s at the bottom (my neck still hurts!) And my stomach is still slightly queasy. Anyway, the bus rolled away at 4. No MF! Waaa!
Rideman, is that you I saw wearing the Kennywood shirt? Were you even there that day?

A bad day at CP is better than a good day at work.
