I dont care for weather.com personally, I have not had a consistent forecast with it. I use our banks weather (Accuweather) and it is more consistent. Sunday forecast calls for mostly cloudy high 58.

In fact, the NWS thinks there could very well be a lull in the action tomorrow. They also think, though, that there might be some strong storms in the afternoon. I don't think the entire day will be a washout, but don't expect it to be rain free.

Booo, Accuweather.

Yeah, the SPC is actually calling for a 25% probabilistic of Severe Storms tomorrow. I'm sure it'll probably storm sometime throughout the day, but, as Walt said, won't be a washout.

Walt, that is exactly what I am hoping for. I WANT the rain, especially in the mid-late afternoon (4 or 5ish would be perfect). It'll force all those day visitors out (except for the hardcore fans) and really open the park up in the evening. Either way we're gonna be there tomorrow and Sunday and there's no turning back now. And Sunday looks like it'll be pretty clear of precipitation so looks like we might hit a money weekend with minimal crowds.

I agree with JuggaLotus. Just checked (weather.com, so don't get your hopes up ;)), and it states that Sandusky will start getting storms around 3:00. Maybe JuggaLotus' wishes will come true? :)

As it turned out, the weather was not bad. Perfect Friday (sun, hi's in the low 70's), SPRINKLES (no big storms at all, on Saturday), but it did cool off Saturday night and was down right chilling (but partly cloudy) and lots of sun this morning. Crowds were more than I expected, but not bad.

Don't change your plans to visit because of a weather forecast. Many times the forecasts are completely wrong or way off. That's when you reap the benefits!
