May 12

Okay, as the end of last year went, trips would involve me staying in the Garter for most of the day. Now, hopefully this pleases you more.

We left around 7:30 in the morning to meet up with two other people. After breakfast and picking up Subway for lunch, we got to the park and had to redeem our vouchers for Platinum Passes. The process didn't take all that long, which surprised me. Then, we entered the park, and I headed to Iron Dragon. That was a good ride even though it was windy. Soon, I walked around to take in the atmosphere. Soon, we met near Magnum, and soon my mom and I rode Tilt-a-Whirl. We had a ride to ourselves. We also rode Paddlewheel Excursions, which was okay. It was kind of cold, though. By this time, it was about 1:10 or so. I made my way to the Red Garter so I had a table for Country Unleashed. I really liked how the waitress kept asking if I was fine with just my water. Normally, they ask me once and that's it.

Ok, about the show. It is so amazing! Even though Frank and Jana are the only singers, they are so great! I like how the show is this year. I also went back for the 6:00 show (more on that later.)

I headed over for a near walk-on for Disaster Transport. Then, I headed to the van where we ate our Subway. Around 5, a little before 5, we headed back in the park. I found a hoodie/jacket that I wanted, so I bought it. Now, it was getting close to 5:30, and I was getting cold again, so back to the Garter I went.

For the 6:00 show, when I got there, I saw one girl sitting and soon three others joined her. I took a seat near the front. Again, the show was great! After the show ended and I left to meet up with the group, one of the waitresses made some comment like "We're done for today!" or something like that.

After meeting up, I rode Cedar Downs, and after that, we left the park. I am so excited going back May 30 for the band trip.

Nice trip report, sounds like you had a good time. How long are the shows? don't think I've seen any of them. I bet it was cold today.

Normally the shows are from 25-30 minutes. It was windy today, and the morning around 11AM or so, there was some rain. Other than that, it wasn't all that bad.
