May 11, 12, & 13 as an employee
Okay, this is my first ever employee trip report. I'm not sure if there is such a thing, but I am now making one. This was my first weekend of work at The Point, and I just wanted to briefly tell somebody what it was like.
Thursday I processed in and it was beautiful, I ended up riding Raptor and Magnum before I met a friend in Sandusky. Friday I did Zip Code surveys (ohhhh ahhhh) and escorted marching bands, worked in Guest Services office, as well as my favorite thing in the world...Lost Persons. Make sure you come visit me in Lost Persons, it's not exactly the most exciting thing in the world.
Saturday pretty much ran together with Friday, I don't remember when I did things, but I also worked in the Season Pass center and did guest surveys, which are fun. I also went through the 6.5 hour employee training course on Sunday. It says they won the 2000 IAAPA award for Training Excellence, and I think they did a pretty good job. Anyway, that was how my weekend went, got to see Dan, Scott, Jeff A, and met lots of fun people. Well, feel free to stop and say hi this summer!
