if that would hit it, i think there would be another 'son of beast'
A different company makes a ride like this that does go all the way around. I can't think of the name though...
No Dj, keep in step with the thread title. It should read:
Millenium force needs go 1200 miles per hour!!!
MaXair is absoultly fine the way it is. Infact I am from Kitchener, ON. So the only other park near me is Paramount Canada's Wonderland....Wonderland has Pyclone! Now to the Point!.....I thought MaXair was going to be the same ride as Pyclone - infact its better then pyclone. Why?. Because while on MaXair I handled it greatly as before here on wonderlands ride but MaXair seems to have a bit more force to it, and seems like a longer ride which I think the manufacture decided to change the cycle and make it longer just for Cedar Point.
TTD needs to race!

Will you knucklehead kock it off about "needs this or change that?" I've got no problem with maXair or TTD, or MF?

Maybe the AF can be a sponsor and give CP a heavily discounted version of their very impressive prototype LIM launch system.

Yeah, which would black out the entire Erie coast with it's enormous power consumption. :)

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
And all those people in line would be death after a hour.
One of the reasons the hydraulic launch was designed, because it was quiet. Xcelerator needed to get up to speed fast (small footprint) and needed to be quiet (people live across the street).

No, they wouldn't be "death". They wouldn't even be dead. Nor sick.
I would think a LIM would be as quiet or quieter than the hydraulic solution.
