RIP MR.SCOTT The ONLY MAYOR OF LIGHTHOUSE
It is nice to see Cedar Point giving people an inside look at construction again. I love how CP always keeps people pretty up to date when they build new prodjects. There may be no construction diary, but for a ride like this I think construction photo's are good enough for me.
Yes, thanks, Cedar Point Man, for being the first person to click on a page on a public web site. Without your help, we would have never known.
Shouldn't this go on the maXair thread. Just a thought. I still don't see how they're going to fit a ride in there but its cool.

Finally, all those junk games in the middle there are gone....I hope they don't show up somewhere nearby.

You took the words right out of my brain Walt! ;) I really am geeked that we're finally getting our own Giant Frisbee. I love Huss rides!

How fast will this thing be up by? I've heard 2 days but I've also heard 4 weeks. Does anybody know, or do you guys know how long it took for Delirium to be constructed?

The Giant Wheel's naked! Oh, uh, it does seem like a really small area for a giant ride. Shows ya how much I know.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

Walt, I don't want you to take this in a bad way, but the sarcasm is very appreciated.

Well it probably has to arrive first, don't you think?
I wonder where they'll stick the mechanical building. I assume it would occupy a similar amount of space like PKI's ride.

Where are they relocating the games anyway?
Or are they just trashing them?
Whenever I pass by that area I hardly ever see anybody playing the games (That's not to say that nobody does, I'm sure people do). And the employees are always acting so cheerful even though they're probibly thinking "Will SOMBODY just play for God's sake!!!!". *** Edited 1/13/2005 5:17:48 AM UTC by TTD 120mph***

A giant Huss is a thing of beauty! Do you think the color scheme will be exactly the same as PKI's or different? I can't really tell by the artistic renderings.....

There is no way they are getting rid of those games. They make way to much cash to not have them somewhere else.
You're not serious are you? The only place those games fit was where they were. Not to mention I doubt if they mad enough money to justify moving them somewhere else. I would imagine that until now, they made enough to justify not tearing them down, but the ROI on a new Giant outweighed the ROI on keeping the games, so they put the Giant there.
As for location, I like where CP is putting it as compared to PKI. It looks like PKI's is just back in a corner where you can't walk around it, but with CPs we'll be able to walk all the way around it, which should provide some interesting photo opportunities.
Goodbye MrScott

"A section of Cedar Point’s games will be relocated to make room for maXair’s impressive 84-foot-tall structure creating a new plaza of games on the Main Midway stretching from the Ice Cream Parlor to Johnny Rockets."
Apparently people don't read the whole annoucement.
