Hey, I had this same problem. In fact, this wasn't the only time it had happened with a video link. I was just too lazy to do anything about it before now. What I had to do was completely remove Quicktime from my system, then re-download it. All is well, now! Maybe, this is all you need to do. Worth a shot, anyway.

By the way, I haven't posted for quite some time. Could this be why my password no longer works? I am "The Enthusiast Formerly Known as Dougster".

It's 100% pure and regular QT with a codec that has been shipping with it for years.

I swear, I think Microsoft must include bombs in their hotfixes that randomly damage or destroy QuickTime installations or something. There is just no reason why a program that is installed and working should just randomly stop working.

That said, I have QT 6.5 on the XP box at work, and the Windows System Administrator keeps feeding me patches, and QuickTime hasn't stopped working yet (and it isn't even QT-Pro!). It has to work; most of the stuff I produce these days ultimately comes out in QuickTime...

Wouldn't surprise me if it was actually some sort of spyware doing weird and crazy things like that. I've seen it do some weirder things to the computers at the college.
