maverick is a great ride. i visited cedar point yesterday and rode maverick twice. the first wait was 2 hours, but i will be the first to tell you that it was worth the wait. that first drop and the twist and turns are simply amazing. the tunnel was breath taking, the way u r launched through that tunnel is a pure adenaline rush. the only thing about the maverick is that my shoulders did take a pounding but i been riding roller coasters for over 20 years so its not a big deal. my friends and i rode maverick for our last ride of the night and wait was a little bit shorter than the first wait. 2nd wait was about 1 hour 15 minutes. millennium force is still my favorite ride in the park, but maverick in my book is a very close 2nd. also, does anyone know if millennium force power failure was fixed?
