Maverick Valleying

After just watching the Funcoast cam I would say that the train runs through the horseshoe roll at a decent speed, so more than likely it was just a combo of misjudgement and the wrong conditions.

As stated earlier, they have to find the rides limits so they know when they cant run the ride. Raptor probably should not have been running closing day due to the wind conditions and see what happened.

Everything will be just fine, everyone have some chips n' dip suck down a tasty beverage and chill.

On that note...

The Problem with Funcoast is you only get like 4 minutes to watch what you want to watch and everything moves slowly.

Even one of the best webcams that the internet has to offer still gets complaints...

Actually, if Maverick is testing, no one is going to move the Funcam.

I have. Just because I know how much people love to watch the Space Spiral when Maverick is testing. I mean what's better than the Space Spiral?

I'll bet money that Maverick will be near the top of the list of rides that close when there is even the slightest winds off the lake. Right up there with the Sky Ride, Raptor, and TTD.

^ I doubt it... they were testing it in the some of the worst weather conditions for late march (at least its seemed like it).

I have to wait untill late June/ early July to ride it. :) But I'm more excited to ride MF...that is...if its running this year unlike my last trip.

just went to Cp on the 29th to get my pass and checked out maverick

it went through the track just fine and man was it the quitest thing i have ever heard..... idt made me want to jump the fence and wait in line for 12 days

Hahaha! Walt, it's almost like you're asking "If there's anybody who broke the rules and drove back on perimeter road, can you tell me if they took the sign down?";)

I was there the 29th to get my pass and I didnt see that sign up. Thats why I drove back and watched Maverick go thru some test runs. Like FlightofRaptor said, it is very quiet.

I wish I was within 100 miles of the park so that I could watch some test runs!

I'm about 700 miles away :( I hope that new job at the grocery store will save me enough to go this summer.
