My bet is that next "something" will be over the trains themselves and the capacity......I dont know why, but I think thats 2 things that are going to get complained about once Maverick opens.

TTD, you could have the most PERFECT coaster or whatever out there, somebody will still complain about it. Why can't people just suck it up and deal with it?

In the past I used to ride my bike every spring for Cedar Point. Last year I only rode for about a month and then gave up. I was not able to fit on millenium last year. Dragster was very tight but I never had to do the Walk of shame.
I know how it sounds. But, I got Dance Dance revolution for xbox360. It is a really good workout that I am doing every morning. It is fun and entertaining so I think I will be able to keep up with it. I go for about 30 minutes a day. If anyone needs any help loosing weight for the season it is a good idea. The game is also available on PS2.
Peace, Mikey
What would be cool would be to have a dedicated thread to weight loss to get on all the rides we wish. I'm not talking a flaming war between people who think amusement parks should accomodate their dimensions regardless of their girth and other folks who think 'fatties' have some sort of congenital ethical problem or who write off overweight people as simply suffering an impairment of willpower. We've had plenty of those discussions that have devolved into virtual shouting matches. I'm talking about something much more positive and constructive, a thread where people who really want to lose weight (and especially to fit on the coasters) can support each other.
Personally, I've never not gotten on a ride I wanted because of my body type. I do tend to carry a fair amount of excess stomach fat, and there have been a few times where I've come close. All those instances have been with Millenium Force, and only in recent years after they shortened the belts. But I don't even want it to be a going concern when I get in line, so I'd like to lose a good 8 or 10 pounds in the next couple months, so it hopefully won't even be an issue.

I would think there are plenty of weight-loss support communities on the intertubes. Let's stick to discussing coasters.

I do the same thing. But the DDR (actually a Pump it Up) is at my work, so I play it there before I leave. Its a good workout....not to mention Im a whiz at it.:)

I try to get my excercise waiting in line. I like to do leg bends in line so my feet don't fall asleep while waiting. By the way Adam, if I meet you next year, I'll not only buy you lunch but I'll play a couple rounds of DDR games with you. :)
And I will watch Adam and Shawn on DDR whilst I get drunk and wonder why do white people try to dance then realize that is why they created DDR to try and evolve white people into dancing machines that will take over the world.
Man am I going to have to drink alot on that one, anyone up for a couple beer towers?
David, I dont think you even left your seat at the meeting.:)
Oh and good luck getting drunk AND watching us play DDR seeing that I’m pretty sure you can’t drink beer in the arcade.:P Though I suppose you could get drunk first THEN watch us play. But there’s the possibility that you’d end up going to the wrong place and not know it since you’re drunk. I bet you’d end up laughing at the wall in one of the restrooms thinking you were in the arcade watching us.:)
