Yes, they do play a canned version of the Bonanza theme. It's on that CD that was referenced at the top of this thread. Take away the fact that this is Maverick's queue music, it's really pretty cheesy as far as the renditions go. Alot of the instruments sound synthesized, and it just has that general "Muzak" feel to it.
Ripcord Crew 2002 / MF Crew 2004
The Theme from "Dallas" and "Bonanza" loop on there also.
Cracks me up! Seems to always be group of young teens, which will start stompin' one foot, one always claping to the off beat and then asking "What are these songs?" Thats when I start to feel the generational gap of television!
No one mentioned 16 Tons; not sure who wrote but I remember hearing it.
2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force
2007/2008/2009: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway
2008: Hard Rock Park - Maximum RPM! Opening Supervisor
2008/2009: Universal Orlando - Men in Black: Alien Attack Team Leader, Guest Services Coordinator
If I remember correctly, I believe the original artist who did Sixteen Tons was Tennessee Ernie Ford back in 1955. I however, do not know who does the cover heard in line. Its one of my favorite songs, thanks to my grandfather who played it all the time when I was little kid.

Does Sixteen Tons show up on Lime Wire at all? Jerrus I would try to type that in and see what you come up with, because that could be the name of it. Thats what I do when I'm confused about a certain song. I just type the words I do remember in and it helps.
It's good to see people reading through the thread before they post. ;)
I really liked the music they played in Maverick's line, and I'll probably check into buying a couple of them, but after a while they seemed way too loud and a little corny. A very...short while.
Summer was made for a Cedar Point day~
I guess I'll just put this here, but does anyone know the name of the song they play at the main entrance to Cedar Point (not the snoopy song). It's a really cool song. If anyone knows please tell me. Thanks!
No, it did not have any voices in it. And I didnt know they played "come on get on" at the front entrance?
"Come On, Get On" and the snoopy song are the only two I know of that play at the entrance to the park.

When I was there on the 26th of June there was one song that they were playing all day, it was not the snoopy song, nor the come on get on. It had no words in it either.

Being on the Maverick crew this year I've heard these songs day in and day out for hours on end. There's still one song missing, it starts off with piano... can't think of the name of it, but that's the only song I can think of that's missing from this list.
EDIT: As far as getting them in the correct order, I can only remember the order of three of them:
~Fistfull of Dollars
~Bonanza
~How the West was Won - Prelude
Anyone care to help with the order of the rest of them? *** Edited 8/11/2007 6:55:42 PM UTC by Froshy***
