Maverick On-Ride Photo Location?

Any ideas/suggestions as to where the on-ride photo will be for Maverick? I think it most likely will be near the end of the tunnel as you're launched out, but for topic's sake, what would be some other ideal places for it?

Attempted to search for this topic, yet came up with nothing.

I'm thinking tunnel too. But wouldnt it be cool if they managed to get it on the heartline?

I was thinking the same about the heartline to TTD, but i also think gettting your pic. on the 1st drop rigth at the 95 degree angle would be pretty hott.

I would think that it would be in a spot where it is relatively easy to get to in case of breakdowns.(close to the station)

The tunnel would be a location that meets these requirements.

Well according to the animation, it goes in that canyon....which isnt over water. But thats not to say the animation is 100% correct.

That would be cool on the 95 degree drop.

This is a good question. I am a collector of on-ride photos. I think the hill or tunnel would be a good place for it.

Not sure about easy places to get to being a reason necessarily. Magnum's is not in an easy to get to spot.

I'm willing to guess at the bottom of a hill towards the end, or in the tunnel.

My guess would be somewhere between the bottom of the first drop and the brake run.

I believe it would be in the tunnel, right at the beginning of the launch, to get people's expression during the launch. But what if they have a start and finish expression like on TTD.

A double photo would be cool like dragster(doesn't TTD have a two pics?). One in the tunnel and if they could manage to get one while your upside down that would be real cool.

Well, i think they have probably put a lot of thought into its placement. Though it would be fun for most to see how they look during an inversion, you might not sell as many photos.

"Excited", "surprised", "scared"... Those are great emotions to capture, but "Crap! My body is experiencing weird G-forces and I'm about to have a technicolor yawn!" might not sell as well.

I think the first drop, inside a canyon and inside the tunnel are great spots to put the photos, but inside of an inversion might not do so well.

I'm thinking right in the middle of the horseshoe turn. Second guess is around the end of the launch.

Now this is a good topic! I don't really have input on location. The way the ride seems like it will be, the location would be suprising no matter where you put it.

When I was at the park closing weekend Dragster's photo was only of the launch, not launch and return like normal.

When did they move Magnums camera?

I think it'll be either in the tunnel or in the canyons. I would love it if they got it on the heartline roll though.

I hope they put it somewhere "hidden" like on MF. I'm not really a big fan of the structures they erect for the cameras like on Mean Streak and Magnum.
