Just a quick shout out to Matt from Avon Lake on the Magnum crew.
As a former employee, I have to say "Great job" with handling a guest issue yesterday while I was waiting in line. You were very professional, calm & collected, but got your point across to the guests for being rude. Thank you!! Way to go!!
I was at the top of the stairs, waiting...and two young African American ladies who were at the bottom- just walked directly through the line and pushed in front of me. They then said they were just "looking for their sister" and they were "NOT" cutting in line. They claimed to be trying to contact her on their cell phone. When I looked over their shoulder, they were checking Facebook statuses on their cell phone. They were making no efforts to yell her name, wave their arms or any obvious forms of communication. For being petite, they sure wouldn't let anyone get in their way! Matt told them that line jumping was cause for removal from the park and that they clearly had the option of just saying her name very loudly since they were only 12 feet away from the train. He let them know that they would be waiting in line until 'we' got through 1st, and then apologized profusely to us.
